It's just that I believe in the brand, and yes I did have several phones and I did experience some problems but they were fixed and everything was cool. I mean this is normal bro, whether it's a car, phone, computer, TV since it's a device eventually it may have problem.
I'm sorry hearing that your experience with SE was not that great, and I understand where your coming from. I hope one day you can believe in them again, maybe not now but someday.

The reason SE gives regular updates is not because they have problems with their phones, it's because they truly care about their customers. Unlike Samsung which all they care about is selling more phones! And you just read what Gsmarena wrote about samsungs support.
No one is perfect ok! Every company has some issues with their handsets. But the difference is that some companies keep supporting you even after you buy from them and some abandon you and try to get most customers. That's the reason I will never respect Samsung specially that they are the #1 ugly brand in the century. So stop bragging about having some issue with your previous phones from SE, because you won't be the first or the last, it's normal OK.

I'm sorry and those numbers are really meaningful, SE is on the red, they are in a really really bad situation, and pulling new phones with android 1.6 is not going to solve anything, on top of that symbian that is already outdated, yeah, everybody knows that this generation of symbian is a quick fix lacking behind against the competition, thats why most of the handsets from nokia are aiming to lower segment. Next we have the new xperia that isn't more than a small update of the first one, are you kidding? SE is not a technology trend setter is a late trend follower! It's all about the looks...
By the way, I wasn't going to waste space here talking about SE problems but I read this on mobile-review:

SE and quality are just 2 words that don't go together, I'm sorry but is truth! I had lots of SE phones and I decided to drop SE for good, let's see the sudden death of my k800i with the sparkling red light (do you remember?), the cracking peypad on s500i, the rubish plastic on m600i plus the bug that killed my phone when I was intalling a theme plus the loose stylus issue... the rusty metal paint on the plastic of the p990i after 4 months of use (I paid 700 euros for it!!!)... oh and about my silver experia cracking issues? Oh yeah, top quality...
SE has very desirable products but they all have lousy quality, this is my experience with them, but much more handsets from them had serious issues... Right now I use LG and Samsung, next? Motorola and LG again, Samsung has great quality but I always feel the software is a bit unfinished, this bada OS seems great though, I'll probably wait for some more reviews to decide, anyway I hope that that iphone look goes away or at least that it can use themes...

Nokia and SE are the best, end of story. Both of them are losing but still people trust them and are interested in them far beyond any samsung or lg joke your talking about.
The only reason samsung and lg are selling more is because they are affordable, because they are the cheapest yes that's true.
The same reason why nissan and toyoto sell more cars, because they are affordable. Not because they are better than a Mercedes or BMW hell no!

Its not what the people say, its what the people do!! As I said before, most people don't want SE. Thats why most people buy Nokia, Samsung or LG! Again as I said, look in any mobile shop. And 90% or more people don't buy SE. That is a fact.
Please learn to be constructive on these sites. If u love SE, thats fine, but keep your biased comments to youself. Go and praise all the SE phones. You are the emotional one here. Please grow up and learn to accept other peoples opinions, especially when the numbers prove it. Get off your high horse.
Nokia or Samsung or LG all sell more phones than SE. Because each of these three brands are more popular than SE. Thats a fact!
