It might look "stock," but it takes six months longer than anybody else to get the update, and then, that will probably be the ONLY update your phone ever gets. Owned a 2013 Moto X, and a 2014 Moto G Dual SIM. Never again.

I have already made up my mind to buy a Lumia 950XL this Christmas in replacement of my beloved Xperia Z3 coz the new Microsoft flagship phone tends to be so powerful and it won't age in 2 years time that easily unlike Android phones but, I cannot leave Android platform completely since it has more number of apps and games than the Windows OS so what I am looking for is a budget backup phone like the M4 Aqua of Sony or the R7 Lite by Oppo. If this new OnePlus midrange phone kicks ass in look and features, I will surely get this one! Hope it has an expandable storage or at least a minimum of 32GB internal memory if not expandable though 64GB will definitely be better!

Just another mistake by OnePlus.
This price tag - as well as the specifications - puts it side-by-side as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.
Which is cheaper, easier to get and comes with many features and colours.
And if the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is too big for you, you have the Xiaomi Mi4i.

Moto X much more expensive. Theres no better phone for 220 or less. Doesnt matter theres slot for memory card or other things. Mostly 16 gb is enough in phones with price 250 and less.

Only, if camera of X will be with OIS to help in low light situations, X can be different from many phones with similar spec and even lower prices.

This will not be a flagship device, just a mid ranger like i said. The chip it's going to be using hasn't surfaced yet either.. sooo.. The Moto X let's you fully customize your phone to your liking, also has metal frame, DxOmark placed it's camera among the top 5 best cameras, has micro SD slot, front facing speakers, front selife flash, near stock android build, turbo charging.. I mean the list goes on. For $400 the New Moto X is a very affordable flagship device. Also, OnePlus has horrible customer service. With Motorola repairs or exchanges are a piece of cake.. something you also need to keep in mind.
