how about samsung galaxy tab S? it's only one year old and yet no marshmallow update? wtf samsung.
as per the list shown I think its time to dump our/my ascend y511-u30 also some other brand models not on the list, since the pace of innovation is really really fast we/i feel like we/i couldn't catch the train and they keep on bombarding us a NEW model, design etc....or whatever "flare" they can associate with it and so goes with your old phone which is not on the list push to exile.....
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2015What about Samsung Galaxy Note Edge?nope... no one cares about that device... that is the most stupid device ever launched by samsung as an alternate flagship that too alongwith a mighty note series...
This is not cool.because Lenovo k3 note not get the letest operating system android 6.0 Marshmallow. Lenovo must need to get it.
I´ve read the LG G2 will receive the "marshmallow update" in the 2nd phase when the G4 and G3 have completed the 1st phase. It´s still uncertain if it´ll be Android 5.1.1 or 6.0 for the G2´s users.
Why asus zenfone 2 4gb. Ram 64 gb. Internal is not included on the list?
why not on Huawei P8 lite and Htc One Me its not coming Marshallmallow tell me or if coming tell me
Oh my poor, sweet Nexus 7 2012. Your speaker is blowing out, your headphone jack stereo rarely works without being slapped, and you are always conflicted with memory issues but you hold a special place in my heart.
Beyond, 18 Oct 2015This is quite sad and ASUS has abandoned all 2014 devices and still stuck on multiple issues f... moreYou are absolutely true. ASUS leave its 2014 devices stuck with multiple bugs on found their Lollipop firmware and application incompatibility like Retrica on Zenfone 5 Lollipop. Idunno if it is working now. They even don't release a bug fix for it. So yeah. I'm not expecting an Android M for first gen devices. I feel a little dissapointment on ASUS. Better downgrade and stay on 4.4 kitkat than 5.0 or change to another phone. #truth
If a phone ain't broke, why fix it? Unless of course there are serious problems - which was what updates were designed for. Why has having the absolute latest OS suddenly become a status symbol of sorts?
Then again, if you're paying good money for a top-line phone, speedy updates should be part of the package.

But the 4th and even the 3rd are a lot worse in terms of performance usually. Many will tell you their phone was fastest on ios7. The only benefit is security.
But support is stopped due to time not performance. And if you really care then just install a custom ROM, courtesy of open source android.
