BTW, single-core performance is what matters, there are a lot of tasks which cannot be multi-threaded and that is a fact.

Also, the A9 is trash. You do realize iPhone renders games at near 720p, right? Put the games at same resolution and even last year's snapdragon 805 outperforms the A9.

The real problem is the software development, combability and optimization yet as mature as ARM on mobile devices, but it is getting there.
So, watch out next two years.

It's not even funny how far behind Intel is in the mobile arena.
