50k???!!!!!! Seriously? What if Perv is not actually Blackberry-ed but totally Android-ed?
Why would i buy a phone from a manufacture who might give up mobile manufacturing in a couple of years? Why would i buy Perv instead of iPhone or Note 5 which are loaded with features and promising OS update every year?

Prices is a little on higher side but considering s6 edgeore than this it will be fine.
No one likes BlackBerry in India so it won't be a hit even if the device is excellent. They need to make customers somehow like the the company which is difficult.....

BB plz drop your price plzzzzzz.once in a time you were top in this mobile business. You hv good OS n build quality.but just understand u r not a Top player anymore. So u hv to get back your old fans' trust by giving them good mobile with compitatitive price.then n then u can brone back your old Glory days.

@theLRD I guess you don't understand the way blackberry wants Priv to work.Blackberry switched to Android so that a lot of people would come forward to give it a try. Off-course Blackberry might have had an strong hold in the market long back , but it isn't a dictator anymore.People don't see it as a luxury product.I hardly have seen a Blackberry Passport in my state except in those fancy showrooms , despite garnering positive reviews.Anything above $600 and Priv is out of consideration for potential buyers.It can't continue selling its devices for enormous profits using just it's brand name!

For anyone who is trying to support Blackberry, by saying all the flagship phones have the same price range blahX3... this phone is Unique and they have all right to sell it in that range blahX3... don't like dont buy blahX3...
Ya right, we will not buy it and it is sad to see their downfall in this kind of arrogant way.

over priced android phones cant compete with ... moreMr. David, this is first BlackBerry device with third party on in it . blackberry is not struggling bcoz of feathers but due to lack of app (meanwhile windows is not successful as mobile os). Do you want to extend BlackBerry struggle with windows os....ooh.
Specs and price clearly shows that it's high end device competitor not some chickens**t competitor. I am happy that now I have privilege of hub, blend on android.

for everyone who is bashing Blackberry, just remember the all the flagship phones from Samsung, HTC, Sony have same price range even if they are androids. This phone is Unique and they have all right to sell it in that range. Also after release there is a expected price drop if someone really want to buy. if you don't like dont buy...

You must be kidding.. In terms of build quality, BB is pretty solid. Always felt far superior to any Samsung I have heard of or seen.

And so, Blackberry once again display their utter lack of any sort of practical business sense. As a company that was strongarmed out of the market for making low build quality handsets for government and business, you would expect their market return to be a midrange handset that appealls to the majority of the phone community. As it stands, they have instead created a highly expensive and very large "top spec" handset that will in no way give them the market penetration they require in order to become a major player again. Such a shame as well for the first android blackberry handset, i was looking forward to this massively.

i really dont understand ytf Blackberry not considering windows platform as it is more of an enterprise device than a consumer device
