When you have one and play with it for a few day you'll understand how balanced is this phone. The design is really different and that's why it's special. The features are excellent and it have all you need to speak, travel and play. What more?
My HTC hero is much special for me now
I don't know why but I hate HTC Hero. Its just so awkwartd looking. I don't even understand why did HTC made it in the first place.
And wonder why Nokia N900 was not in the race. Probably thats why Nokia didn't had a single phone release/announce in MWC 2010. N900 would have beaten Hero by a million trillion Kazillion miles (or should I say "light years")
[deleted post]Devices posted in the last quarter of last year are not nominated. Maybe ur milestone and HD2 will win next year. For now let HERO enjoy the spotlight.
Bravo HTC. I think u are heading the right direction.
I love my hero :D
as expected, my HERO won.
OMG.....where is HTC HD2?????Why didn't it win the device of the year????Or at least best innovative touch UI???
[deleted post]lol, dude, this has nothing to do with gsmarena. GSMA means GSM Association (google it), which has no connection with this website.
Wow! My Hero is winner!!!
why do people insist on putting' first' when ever they comment, do they not get that it is big, clever or smart!
Thanx, but NO to hyped awards...!
Last year they awarded iNQ for best phone,
and now HTC Hero..., shame on such corruption community!

Congratulation for the achievements, guys! You're the man! Keep up your good work.
And to the loosers: next time, guys, next time. This is not the end of the world, it's still on the schedule....
Well done, Steve Jobs, sheer brilliance in pulling Apple from the brink and launching the iPhone which has dominated and influenced high end smartphones since it's introduction only three years ago.
