The more they adopt same design with iphone, the more ppl will think it's a fake Chinese phone :'(

I guess next year will be their last year in the business

So from own unique design they now try to make it look like an iPhone...

Sad, HTC will end quickly this way.

Interesting, the A9s smooth slimness is very appealing and still with grip. I've just ordered 3 as a powerful upgrade to the One S - classic thing that it is. The A9 is slick.
Love HTC but I would say if you are carrying it over to the M set. then relocate the logo OFF the front. its ok but it would be further enhanced by its removal. The sound - dolby and max power coming out of the A9 is terrific but if there was room for the stereo speakers, great or duplicate the bottom grill set. max screen - min body. that way its still hand and pocket friendly but with your classic quality and beef. I also saw a bevelled top rendition of a HTC phone online the other day. Whoa, was that gob smacking hot. If that was ever in test phase then that design would sure break up the usual slab finish to a designer feel. just sayin..

If the front stereo speakers are gone, there will be no more reason to buy HTC phones anymore as this made them special. If they do put them in, I'll be interested ...

The should focus more on reducing the price of their products than design!

So this probably means that the front stereo speakers will never be coming back? Not good news.

Honestly now, i am a very informed person regarding the smartphone world. I had 2 iphones (1st iphone, iphone 3gs) and many android devices (htc desire, htc one s, lg nexus 5, currently htc one m9). I couldnt be happier with my htcs. Couldnt be happier. Built quality is amazing, sound/display is amazing, touchwiz is the best android os in my opinion... And now the A9 can turn things around for htc i believe

Android iPhone. There you go. Anyway, better than previous htc designed bodies.

It great to hear that HTC's ugliest design will be making it's way to all of their phones and also make them look like copycats to the average consumer since I never liked them anyway
