Like you I am after an upper mid range so I was looking at the Z5compact. nice, not keen on the lanyard holes so ultimately HTC won as there quite solid builds. They seem energized and have done many great things but not advertised as well as they could have.
I'm retiring my One S. still a classic and a unibody slim. It made me wonder if they knew or fully realized just how good the one s was in size, features and feel. The S4 chip still rocks. now imagine a zouped up version of that with a 4.5 or 4.7 screen. total size no bigger than 139mm. I was looking at renders of the A9 screen and its super sharpness. Looking forward to getting it. Cheers

HTC got sloppy and Samsung knew that all it needed was one phone to change everything. I don't hate but I think s2 and s6 and note 4 was and is the best phones Samsung ever made. The ones in between was so laggy. Htc sense is fluid.
