Anonymous, 18 Feb 2010Oh well, it's official... Nokia is now playing catch-up... on software *and* hardware. If anything, it's the other way round. When Nokia isn't lazy and don't rush things like they did the N97 and 5800 which wasn't aimed at the iphone, i can assure you they are pretty much better than everyone else. They were late wih the colour screens and cameras, yet the 7650 just s**t over everything else. Nokia may not be on time with thier products, but once they start inventing to thier full potential and put all thier effort into it like the S-series they are announcing, you can damn well bet everyone else will be keeping a close eye and be catching up with them. No one manufacturer with the exception of Sony Ericsson and Samsung have equalled Nokia's camera quality.

Finally maybe now we will get proper games, the current games on the Symbian are like Sega Megadrive compared to the iPhone.

So now we know the real reason why, Nokia were in a dispute with Qualcomm so couldn't have some power under the hood. Let's hope now it changes...Go Symbian 3!

and by then the ovi store will be fixed and have a vast amount of content for sure

They always get it right in my book (smile). They know what they are doing. I'm sure you will be pleased in the long run after all is said and done.

I like nokia because generally their high end smartphones and entry level ones are similarly just as powerful. However, from this news, I can tell that they're going to become like every other manufacturer, and I don't like that. I want regular nokia pls.

Who wants a snapdragon phone now that a samsung wave comes with the power of doing 89million triangles!

                        Old tech :P.

So they intend to keep their promise and make 60fps scroll possible. Very good to hear!
