IOS updates are only really compatible for a single year, the second one is when the mishaps start, which obviously get worse the year after and beyond.

Guess we will never see 5.1.1 on Note 4 N-910G variant. Shamesung :( Disappointed with this model. We pay 42k for this model and live with all the bugs in it. No support for Asian markets? Why are the updates biased so badly?

The international versions of s5 namely sm-g900h(exynos) and sm-g900f(sd 801) are still on 5.0. Now i wonder, if it is the carrier's fault or samsung's in this case!

This is harsh reality of Android OEMs. I don't know how HTC will provide all the latest Android update within 15 days. Not even sure about one month.

I absolutely agree. The deejays are the carriers' fault. And yes T-Mobile has a better record of updating their devices than AT&T. I know Android is open source but what I don't agree with is why in the world Google left it up to the carriers when it comes to OS software updates. It should come straight from Google especially the security updates.

Instead of waiting for carriers who are slow I've learned to update via custom ROMs. I ain't waiting months -- even years -- just for carriers to release an update.
