IOS updates are only really compatible for a single year, the second one is when the mishaps start, which obviously get worse the year after and beyond.
AnonD-361638, 24 Oct 20155s with ios 9.x...its getting worst...8.xx was way better in 5s. Not really, iOS 9 brings all kinds of new features even to 5s.
meanwhile my 2 years old Xperia Z is rocking with this android version for 6 months ago
My mum got a 5.1.1 update a month ago and this is South Africa. Not sure what the fuss is.

Dot-WiFi, 24 Oct 2015can u give 10 good reason , why ??I don't know about 10 reasons but one reason for sure is the added versatility.
Guess we will never see 5.1.1 on Note 4 N-910G variant. Shamesung :( Disappointed with this model. We pay 42k for this model and live with all the bugs in it. No support for Asian markets? Why are the updates biased so badly?
The international versions of s5 namely sm-g900h(exynos) and sm-g900f(sd 801) are still on 5.0. Now i wonder, if it is the carrier's fault or samsung's in this case!
This is harsh reality of Android OEMs. I don't know how HTC will provide all the latest Android update within 15 days. Not even sure about one month.

I absolutely agree. The deejays are the carriers' fault. And yes T-Mobile has a better record of updating their devices than AT&T. I know Android is open source but what I don't agree with is why in the world Google left it up to the carriers when it comes to OS software updates. It should come straight from Google especially the security updates.
Instead of waiting for carriers who are slow I've learned to update via custom ROMs. I ain't waiting months -- even years -- just for carriers to release an update.
Levy, 23 Oct 2015With this update, the S5 will be an iPhone 6S killer.can u give 10 good reason , why ??

Meanwhile it's nemesis iPhone 5s already had iOS 9.1 and will receive more OS updates in the foreseeable future. Lol

Look at lg htc and especially sony, they update their devices faster than samsung. Just like what someone said, samsung is forcing obsolescense on their devices by delaying updates as much as possible.
