lol, 23 Oct 2015A year late. Embarrasing. It is emabrassing but for AT&T.. This isn't Samsungs fault. AT&T's update policy on Android devices is a joke. T-Mobile does a much better job.

Levy, 23 Oct 2015With this update, the S5 will be an iPhone 6S killer.I hope you're joking, because if you're not then that's just sad... lol.

The GS5 is so ugly compared to the GS6 lol Anyway, this is clear evidence of how slow AT&T's update policy is.. We already have 6.0 Marshmallow and the GS5 is barely getting 5.1.1... It's sad really. And it isn't even Samsungs fault, this one is pure AT&T's fault..

AnonD-407426, 23 Oct 2015Meanwhile the octa-core version still has 5.0 But... but... more cores means better performance, right??! The octa core is a multitasking beast for power users!!

the main reason because end user and modders prefers snapdragon over other processors is because they are able to operate with it easier than any other exynos is a hard time for them ....if im wrong them look for ur self and u ll see that snapdragon has several kernels and modded roms for mobile devices.

I'm on Rogers Wireless in BC Canada, already rocking the 5.1.1 update (since October 16th) for the GS5. I haven't noticed any really differences as to be expected, however it seems to crash less.
