Lg lacks good palette of phones. They dont have a decent 5 incher except a decade old g2. G4 is great except its size but it also lacks Qi and fingerprint sensor. And theyre trying to sell it almost same price as Samsung s6. Not working. This V10 covers the fingerprint sensor but its effing huge. If i will ever go for that size i would want a pen like note series, otherwise its pointless to carry a tablet size phone.

Of course, it doesn't sell as expected.
1) for that meager battery it should have FHD screen instead of QHD
2) using a FHD screen gives better onscreen frame rates thus faster.
3) FHD screens are cheaper so the phone becomes a bit cheaper too. Perhaps make it even smaller 5" Max. Less material used thus even more affordable.
And then it might sell "as expected".
Also those manufacturers expect too much.

Sales are bad probably due to their poor software updates. I've been using the LG G Pro 2 for over a year now and it has only got 1 update... I mean, Seriously!

LG makes wonderful phones with a bad UI their UX skin on most LG phones should be toned down almost to stock android, only then things might improve the UI is jarring for people who own a LG device for the first time .....in terms of hardware they are second to none but Software is where they lag behind their competition

Pointers for LG:
Make your UI more like stock Android.
Release a bit ahead of the normal release cycle, so people can compare with Sammy, instead of waiting until people decide on Sammy.
Price competitively, so people think twice before moving to other flagships.
Copy some of Note features. Note is still providing some unique features, for which Note fans are staying that way. Personally, I don't care who copies from whom as long as I get what I want.
Advertise that more RAM and clock speed doesn't mean faster performance. More like, you have Usain Bolt and you made a clear straight 100m track for him, while a demon (representing better RAM and clock speed) also has 100m to go but his track is full of obstacles and such. Cleverly imply that Samsung isn't good at clearing those obstacles but you are, and in the end Bolt wins.

Their advert is like from the 90's. No wonder people loses their interest. No one want an LG in Korea. Its not considered that famous there. Samsung have brighter future compare to LG. Resell value of Samsung is higher than LG too. LG new G-Pay just killed it.

This phone will be an epic failure. 99% of the phone buying public has no need for most of these features. It has the same software, chip set and screen as the G4 but will cost about $300 more. I'm not saying is not a great phone, but there's just not enough people that are going to care about all that extra stuff.

g4 is still good phone and its still fresh meaning most people lg fans have already bought g4.
v10 will only buy by people who love bigger screen on their phone
g5 is about to come in just lessthna 4 month from now.

And nowadays the reviews are mainly about camera, and hardware, most people care about that only, but what we miss, is the core features of a mobile phone. Like how its antenna reception is, how the call quality is, how the built is etc., exactly how many reviews cover those things nowadays?
LG always was a mediocre company, I just don't understand exactly when people (kids mainly) started to even compare them with actual top end companies! Ridiculous!
