It is common sense (not the best approach of course) that Samsung will take longer to push updates to their devices, they make so many different phones model at different ranges, of course flagships should get updated first. Apple, HTC and other companies have less models they should work on to make this happen.

Samsung is so slow and looking to make only profits and never looks for after sales service...where the other smartphone companies Like Apple and htc are giving a good, quality and speedy after sales services specialy when it comes to software upgrade i am using only samsung since last 10 years but never seen any quicker software upgrades..... Its going to hit Samsung's sales very badly... As other are giving update of Amdroid 6 version Samsung is yet to give Android 5 Lolipop to its devices...

You can still update software afterwardsIn his zeal to leave an unpleasant aftertaste in a solely positive samsung story humanshoe unnecessarily states , you can't downgrade afterwards. Never have you been able to go back from a proper normal software upgrade, so the millions of happy samsung buyers can relax and upgrade, that red herring statementwould only apply to the rooted phone community, so no apple points here. Also for accuracy sake , this is not the phones first update, the edge has had 2, and this is the edge plus's second, we have both.
