I think its funny how people here who settle for substandard products from Samsung, Microsoft and their ilk just do not get Apple. They are not about market share. The Ipod was laughed at for being $399 when it came out, it was definitely a niche product, being only available for mac users, but see what happened. Myself as a musician, and others, have been long awaiting a quality tablet that has full sized "paper" on the screen. My whole church band had pros their first week out. After owning Samsung phones and tablets for several years, hating on Apple like the folks here, and then switching to Apple, I would never go back. Apple stuff is more integrated, reliable, and simple. I learned why Steve Jobs scoffed at imagined "innovation" which is nothing more than adding more layers of "stuff." Managing my sheet music on Samsung tablets was complicated, had too many steps, and was too much like a laptop. This is why I love the Pro. I don't want a laptop. I want a big tablet that is the size of paper that works simply and well.

Im not surprised... moreI cannot believe there are morons who still think Apple copies Samsung, when Samsung lost patent suits to Apple, not vice versa, and Apple invented the smartphone with touchscreen interface. Samsung's phones are based on stolen software and technology from Apple. Samsung does not innovate. That add "cute features" which android morons mistake for innovation. Samsung has never innovated a single thing.

Methinks it's also the general perception that iOS are the same on any device and are developed and maintained primarily for consumer use (multimedia, social networking, games, etc.) rather than professional use. We all have this experience with iPhones and the iPads. Anything with less than MacOS isn't truly a working device. I'm NOT saying it's true, but that's what people perceive... unless you can get millions of buyers to actually test them.
Apple might want to try a tablet (or convertible) version of the MacBook. A MacOS device that becomes an iPad cousin.

If you want real value, go with asus or acer or nexus. Samsung sells re packaged tabs or downgraded specs tab every year, how can they be worth your money? The latest Tab s2, which is inferior to tab s1 and most importantly, worse than the one year old ipad air 2, is priced identically to ipads.
