instead of making foldable devices they should really concentrate on software, they should tie up with cyangenmod & get rid of that touch-wiz & stupid bloatwares apps. stop gimmicky tech.

muya, 28 Oct 2015it would be very very interesting if.. it is a foldable version of : 1. 4inch - 8 inch. ... moreOnly it doesn't work that way. In order to double the diagonal lenght, you would have to quadruple the surface area. So it would have to fold in at least 2 planes to achieve double diagonal. Not likely anytime soon.

Actually Samsung's foldable phone has been developed couple years ago, you may go youtube find the name "Youm" for more detail, finally they continue on R&D in this land field, always support Samsung innovation, hope it can pull back the sales from rival.

I would like to see this type of screen.
This can be helpful to keep device compact and the experience of a bigger screen intact
Lets see how well Samsung implements its innovation commercially

This is convincing enough. Rumors of dual edge curved screen starts about the same time last year. Foldable? Well, the had shown the patented hinge system that allows the screen to be bend and not break. I will keep watch on this one. They already made flexible battery stripe and band anyway. That made it more convincing. No more removable battery with this design.
