AnonD-364786, 30 Oct 2015i think samsung mobiles are smoking something and not me :P but samsung mobiles burned down... moreQualcomm is still the best after many phones I have used! Samsung exynos eat battery like drinking water. All the overheating issues are rumors to attack Qualcomm. Don't spread bad rumors just because Qualcomm made the best chip sets and make good profits, and so you are jealous of them.

Nice wishes, but sadly that won't happen again. 820 comes with a CUSTOM designed processor, not a off-the-shelf design like 810 and 7420. And the graphics is also custom made, something with exynos can never match. Qualcomm made a mistake with the 810, but they wont repeat that mistake again. Which is why Samsung is opting for 820. They know that they can never make a processor to match the 820.

I can give you... moreYou're right in saying that Samsung hasn't actually confirmed it, but seeing as they're working on improving the Snapdragon 820 it is unlikely that they wouldn't use it.

Qualcomm can't afford two failures in a row, everyone would move to exynos and mediatek or whatever. They're well aware of that and you can bet they won't let it happen.

I can give you a hint since its winter now, buy yourself a Qualcomm phone to warm yourself or even to cook.
My Qualcomm slogan: "Qualcomm the way to cook".

Wow you are a hard core Snaplagger fanboy.
Exynos is way better than Qualcomm it runs on lower GHz and performs better.
Better to call your broker to sell your shares in Qualcomm it seems they are going to dive this year too.

Samsung have shown they won't use an overheating chipset, they are said to be using the 820 and are working closely together with Qualcomm as they will be the first to use the chipset. So do you seriously think it will overheat?

Both latest exynos in S6 and the recent SD810 becomes hot with use, even galaxy s6 still heats.
Moreover, you wouldn't say Qualcomm is "verb" for heating, you can say this about SD810 if you want, but you shouldn't generalize to all Qualcomm products ever the coming ones.

Because their previous chip did have overheating problem and they denied it and now it seems to be the same story.

Until then use the free text at the bottom to search for snapdragon 810. There are many other similar enhancement that are missing. Like - try and search for phones with replaceable battery. Or search for phones that do not use the snapdragon 810.

I sent a few weeks ago an email to GSM Arena with a suggestion that I believe to be very useful: in advanced search, it would be very helpful to search phones by the processor they use.
For example to search for all the phones that use SD810 or 801.
What do your guys think? Does it seem useful to you?
