I work in a design industry, one should not generalise things cause it does not happen in their organisation, people does uses iPad extensively for work, I have my dentist using iPad for small dental treatment, they have all kinds opf devices compatiable and stays connected to it. so people, do not generalise.

Disney's main art designers had a rare chance to give it a test drive few weeks back and they all agreed that this is amazing tool

Quite a daft move for Apple. With most of you saying it does its job as a tablet.. err we already have a tablet which is the ipad air. This IS trying to be a hybrid or laptop replacement at the very least.
If it was my money I'd opt for the the ipad as a tablet, the surface pro 3/4 as a hybrid (and we use surface pro 3 i5/i7 chip 4/8gb of ram at work in Dev, once in docking station it's our main machine no "lag" that you speak of running word, excel, visual studio, terminal server etc). Or the macbook air as a laptop.
Not an idaft, android, microsoft fun but just a guy who appreciate sound tech.

your pen must be exchanged after 12 months..and apple pencil you can keep it for 2-3 years

Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book is already out. If you are considering getting the ipad pro for actual professional work or even high-end work as a hobby, then it is woefully inadequate. It is a glorified ipad without any added benefit. Get the Surface Pro 4 and get the added benefit of a pen that has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity and battery is good for a year.

AnonD-70078, 31 Oct 2015Jeeeeeeez I have surface anyway over this blew Up Toytell us (i have too surface pro 4) how it runs with excel and word opend and try to drag something or do something at 60fps ! you cant , the UI experience as a tablet is mediocre
ipad pro UI as a tablet is perfect because it does just 1 one thing but perfect
a hybrid cant do both perfectly

prof means to make something to run smooth, a hybrid cant do both perfectly
ipad pro is perfect as a tablet
surface is not perfect as a tablet and not perfect as a desktop/laptop, its a hybrid that can do both

So yeah, no businesses will buy this over a surface pro.
And its a hybrid which means its TABLET AND A PC, better than being a "full tablet".
Stop crying over how apple is running out of ideas and being ran over by better solutions, despite selling billions of dollars (it doesn't prove that is superior, see how McDonald's sells millions more than a 5 star restaurant, but that doesn't mean its better, so deal with it sheep).
