This just shows that Sony is a brand name that people love despite poor sales. Sony got to blame only itself for not being the no.1. All the lazy bugs at Sony must be kicked out for they have never realized the brand value of Sony. For most of us, Sony is synonymous with quality. Make excellent phones like Z5 and you will garner more hearts in your favor.

No offence but I have no reason to upgrade to the z5 from my z1. Works fine and the z5 ain't that much of an upgrade

So ,mostly, this kind of advertisement won't make sense .

Sony phones are amazing. Better for build quality, for premium look and feel, better battery life, etc etc... I have Sony Xperia Z3 and extremely satisfied...

I hope Sony advertises its mobile products like they do for LED TVs and other products. Sony's products are really price worthy!

che, 02 Nov 2015most of the people visiting this site are Android loversYup. Meaning that most people in the world don't care reading mobile tech site like gsmarena, otherwise, if we base on sales (of high end) sony would unfortunately finish last of the three.

Yeah, the Sony Z5 is the best out of these options. I bet Sony would do better if they advertised in the US. I've never seen a Sony phone commercial on TV, but loads of Samsung and Apple ads.

I'm a Sony user and never heard about this poll until I swung by this site. So, where's the fan base? What 'mobilizing'? I think Sony's win has to do with the fact that gsmarena tends to attract people who really like to delve into the specs and tech features of gadgets. The fact that it is the best place for comparing devices means you won't get people who fall for branding who are already sold. They won't look for anything else. The techie types will appreciate things like the 23-MP sensor and the fact that Sony actually makes it. (In fact, TechRadar reported today that Samsung wants to use this very same sensor in the Galaxy S7.) So I'm not surprised that many GSM Arena readers like the Z5 so much, over the Galaxy. And it doesn't hurt that the Z5 was just released, while the S6 got released back in March.
