Smartwatches, including Apple's watch, are bad products no matter how many they sell. And the number of these devices sold doesn't really prove that they are good products. Just exactly like how iPhone's sales number doesn't prove that it's the best product in the smartphone market.

I can see getting the point across would be near futile, as you don't even see my point in your very own statement. Reviewers as you say are the tiniest fraction. Yet iPhone STILL sells more than ANY other premium phone on planet earth. SO ALL of those people DON'T wonder why the reviewers bought it!

They are the tiniest fraction of the population of people who use iPhones. Most people don't even know why they chose an iPhone.

AnonD-375420, 01 Nov 2015People these days, poor people prefer quantity and not quality When you read Apple fans comments these days, that seems to be very true. All they talk about is sales figures on these horrible products. How much their fellow Apple fans spent buying these useless products...

Smartwatches in general weren't going to be good products to begin with. I don't think Apple did any worse than the competition with their watches, but with that being said, they made the most profit in the market where majority of the consumers are at a loss. There are so many reviews of people returning their watches after 2 weeks or so. This further strengthens the point that sales number doesn't mean anything to user experience.
AnonD-442781, 02 Nov 2015Lacklustre sales of smart watches globally disagrees with you. Even with Apple's cult following.Apple still owns at the very least 75% of the lackluster market ;) by now probably more. Leaving samsung and the rest 6 feet underground. Bottom line is bottom line. Manbabies always look for gaps in the bottom line lmao shame.

And the fact that it only took 3 months (in limited availability) to capture 75% of the already existing market is definitely no indication of failure.
Considering the Apple watch was only released 6 month ago. And now Apple is reducing their new watch by $50, certainly tells me that their watches are not selling as well as Apple had hoped.
