Anyway, the way Microsoft is structuring WP7, it seems they want the focus to be on the OS not the hardware, hence the Chasis 1,2,3 standards. Reminds me a lot on Apple's style. Selling the experience, not the device.

andy burgin, 28 Feb 2010Microsoft have made a big mistake picking Lg as the First Windows 7 mobile, because Lg have not... moreIf they weren't good they wouldn't be among the Top 3 largest mobile manufacturer in the world. Yes. In the world. But your point is true, on the software side. LG is notorious (at least in the past) for not releasing firmware updates for its phones.

Shinigami, 28 Feb 2010Looks boring. I've seen loads of similar devices already, I want INNOVATIONS!!! In both hardwa... moreAnd what chipset would you like them to invent out of the blue for that? while running the other functions......

try a digital camera, they'll do it better... now.

I cant see winmo devices offering that...for years.

Looks boring. I've seen loads of similar devices already, I want INNOVATIONS!!! In both hardware and software. Including 3x optical zoom with 12mp camera and 1080p@30fps video recording (with 720p@60 fps).

Looks slim for a phone with physical QWERTY, that's good.

Looks like we are starting well. If the first one is so nice like this, imagine when HTC and SAMSUNG will bring their WP7 devices.
