People who actually complain about privacy in Windows 10,are little dummy. They use Google's Android, who know even your bank account, and they still talk about privacy in Windows 10.Most stupid thing i ever heard in my life.

Actually the thing is they didnt even need to make a new window.. 7 is perfect.. It may have some bugs but they should have just fixed them ...

Give me DX12 on Windows 7, and I will go back to Seven in a microsecond.

Definitely won't be playing the upgrade for free card, if you actually read the full terms and conditions, you'll see that you give Microsoft the right to look at anything you do and can report anything that looks illegal.

Have seen many people who won't let go of Windows 7 for whatever reason. Stability is not the issue cause majority haven't tried 10 yet.

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2015I thought there were only automatic downloads and not installs? I could be mistaken.Originally it was just a message box.
Then it was "accidentally downloaded" without asking you.
Next it will be forcefully downloaded without asking you.
In the meantime, for those stuck on Windows 7 and 8, four very specific updates were released that add some of the spyware features of 10 into those two (PROVEN FACT, though not nearly as bad as it is on 10).

...how far do you think they'll go knowing all that?

windows 10, i a nightmare. it is a very flawed release, i have important work to do, but for the last 2 days my PC crashed twice, not only that but every time i unplug my charger, the PC goes into sleep mode in less than 3 mins even if i re-connect the charger, this continues till i restart, i don't even have sleep mode enabled not even for un-plugged state!! not only that but sleep mode is highly unstable, sometimes the system can't wake up after a sleep. both chrome and Mozilla are not stable in windows 10. i was willing to upgrade my windows 7 pro version to windows 10 to have more control over updates. i hate the new app ADs and lack of control, i will go back to my other copy which is windows 8.1 and it will be my last windows.

yeah windows 10 is the best and last full os from microsoft, and that market share will grow in time.

Got Windows10, and now its blazing fast.. and comparing it with my i5 Acer with windows7.. i must say that its as same speed.. sometimes my Asus loads faster with its Dual Core chip

If its true that Microsoft gonna FORCE update I seriously think about sue them.
Now they secretly download win10 on PC without even saying anything, and because of that I lost almost 10GB of Mobile LTE transfer on my netbook where I use cellular internet. Before I block this update and firewall all MS connections I lost that transfer, Im not gonna mention that because of that I lost money

For now no one know about their planes, but rumors say that they gonna not only download it, but force in on all devices that have win7 and win8.
And I dont know about you but that would be serious breach of not only security, but privacy.
                                  Why?

I use now 3 PC, and all of them are personalized not only by look but by few custom drivers and apps that doesnt work properly on win10.
Most of diagnostic tools that I use for cars need modified drivers, and Im not gonna mention that even my graphic card(integrated Intel) have moded drivers that just doesnt work on win8 and win10.

If one day I would wake up turn one of those PC and Its gonna have win10 I would not only probably lost money because Im not gonna do my job, but I would need to spend day or two to AGAIN install win7 and spend hard time to configure system so I can work on it...

So for now I recommend blocking Microsoft update sites and IP on router and set firewall to block it too. And security updates? sorry but for past 20 years I never used antivirus and maybe few times use windows update... as far as you read what you click you dont need to worry about that.

The main reason is because nobody like "flat ugly interface" in desktop os.
win 7's aero is the best.
