Please for the love of everything holy, give us some viability on US freqs. My MX is still my favorite phone to date and I still use it regularly as a music player. I'd love nothing more than to go back to a Meizu phone, especially a 4.7" version (that's the ideal phone size for me), but I absolutely need to have reliable use of AT&T. I'd even switch to T-Mobile if they chose that route.

I'm pretty sure a company employing Samsung's Exynos chips would have to pay at least some amount if not hefty and price their device accordingly, e.g. PRO 5

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2015Cost has no bearing on how a SoC overheats. S810 devices w/o enhanced/modified cooling, anybod... moreI know,I just meant that its cheaper than the pro5, despite having a more advanced and technically better chipset. There must be some cons of the device, whether its poor battery life, throttling, or something else. I don't have any experience with meditatek's chipset so I dunno.

                                    AnonD-319985, 03 Nov 2015Pro 5 Mini??? What??? There's already a mini MX5 which is MX5On paper:
                                    Meizu MX5
                                    5.5" 1080p AMOLED GG3 20.7MP/5MP 16/32/64GB ROM (non-expandable) 3GB RAM 3150mah Li-Ion (non-removable) Helio X10 Octa-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 PowerVR G6200 Gray, Gold, Silver, Black/Silver

                                    Meizu PRO 5
                                    5.7" 1080p AMOLED TBC 21MP/5MP 32GB ROM - 3GB RAM / 64GB ROM - 4GB RAM up to 128GB mSD (SIM 2 slot) 3050 Li-Ion (non-removable) Exynos 7420 Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 Mali-T760MP8 Gray, Gold, Silver, Black/Silver

                                    Meizu PRO 5 mini
                                    4.7" 1080p 32/64GB ROM Helio X20 Deca-core Metal build

If this would have simply been Meizu 5 mini or MX5 mini, I think it wouldn't have been embedded with a higher end SoC than a Helio X10 found inside the primary MX5. Having the PRO moniker, I would have presumed it would have most likely be given a higher tier than Helio X10 SoC

I suspect no sane LTE support, no NFC and no non-Chinese firmwares again. The company went opposite way to Xiaomi. Yet largely local non-Chinese partners to blame. In Russia especially.

Haha. maybe, but a dual core overpriced apple still beat android in term of single core score in geek bench, huhu and it still can compete with a lot of 4-8 core android, number of core not really important actually huhu, as the 4 core sd 801 is still pretty relevant tho. many android apps still not utilize it's multicore huhu many apps use single core only.. just my opinion, but this phone is awesome, it deign, it screen and price fit it well, it gonna be a good competitor in the world of smartphone
