The only cloud service I ever use is Google Photos and Google Play Music - unlimited photos and 50.000 songs. The remaining 15GB on Google Drive - more than enough to handle my emails and doc files for the rest of my life.

My question is how did they know that there is people downloading movies to their cloud ?
Shouldn't everything in that cloud be only accessible to the user and can only be seen to users?

OneDrive is the only Back Up service I use and all that because of the 30GB storage, now it is gone. Not cool MS, not cool.

I think Microsoft are copying from Apple iCloud.
Because iCloud have only 5GB Free.
                  Now Microsoft doing it.

I use Google Photos for unlimited photo and video backup and Google Drive for unlimited documents. The rest of my files are split between Google Drive and Copy.com.

sajjad, 03 Nov 2015Yeah then good luck cause 1 TB monthly fee for Google drive is 9.99$ 30TB is 299$ so yeah the... moreThey are offering 50gb for 2$. Google on the other hand offers 100gb for that.
It seems they are screwing their free/low storage users (which I think they are the majority) in order to keep their 365 personal plan @ 7$/month? Their most attractive plan still costs 10$ that gives you multi-user office license on top of the storage.
Whatever works for them I guess?

Lol, what a pathetic move! Especially for the free 15GB that comes with Windows. I took advantage of the bonus a while ago and I have 30GB so I was happy with those 30. That will be taken away, and why? lol pathetic!!! Wow Microsoft is really getting on my nerves with all these weird things. Likewise Google gets on my nerves with giving and taking away services.

Luckily I only 145mb in use with One Drive lol, I have a Box account that I got with my LG phone in the past, 50GB for life! so I'm happy with that. And I mainly use Google Drive for my files anyways.

From 30 gb to 5 gb, neat Microsoft! 20gb would have been better considering Google drive offers that much (After some offers).
But 2$ for 50gb? Why not use mega.nz? They offer this exact amount of storage for 0$..
I need about 20-30gb for my files. So "early 2016" I will be migrating my business to other services. Bye microsoft!

That's hilarious. They offer massive space to store files and when people actually use that space, they treat it as abuse. Then why the hell are you offering something you're not allowed to use in the first place!?

That's like ISP's offering 250Mbps lines and then you actually get 50Mbps coz fair use crap or something... If you're selling something, also deliver the promised. Otherwise don't even bother showing the higher numbers if you don't have the infrastructure to deliver...

One of the reason I stick with my Lumia 920 is One Drive. Now they making nonsense reasons to cap the limit. I have 45GB of free storage by referrals and cam upgrade. Now I have to think for alternate to One drive and Lumia.

They should not come out with 20Mp cameras and 4k videos if they limit cloud, Its like they want us to either give up on cloud service or to pay? New horror story.
