      Yeah right!
As if custom ROM developers won't cook a WP7 ROM for most of the current WM phones, as soon as the actual OS is released :)

As we all know the Microsofts and Apples always stay away form works where "bi-" is involved. They rather use "mono-" as in "monopoly".

They were looking for a slowdown on the android machines. Its sounds more of a Microsoft Vs Google Colateral damage.

Get your paperweight now! Talk about built in obsolescence! What a joke and why was this information not disseminated prior to launch..........i feel sorry for anyone who has to use Windows Mobile and now their flagship phone is a piece of junk.

Hardware can be changed. And "Three Button Layout"? The reason seems to be a more of a financial tune mismatch, form this angle.

i'm sure MS and HTC tried to keep this fact under lock and key for as long as possible cause the sales for the HD2 just went to ZERO!!

the 5 button limitation or ultimatum by MS is silly. what purpose does this serve other than to LIMIT their product???

winmo7 might look great but MS have not really though this thru enough.

                              case in point, the HD2.

Technically, 5 buttons reason written here is I think sarcasm. Actual reason is unknown as you can read in last lines. There must be something else inside the hood that is not compatible, maybe the "battery" size?

Anyway no hard feelings but if it is true, I feel pretty happy. Lol. And eagerly waiting to read comments from a particular HD2 user.
