What DSLRs has Samsung? The KAF-mount line was discontinued long ago.

They have never been a game changer in the camera or image segment and it makes sense they pull out of where they can't compete. All those saying crap that smartphones have taken over mirror-less and other compact digital cameras know little bout photography. No serious professional or photo enthusiast will ever depend on a smartphone camera for serious photography. We are not talking about social media here or a few office and/or work related presentations.

Sorry Samsung if i looking for a mirrorless camera for professional works i'll only buy Sony a7 series camera.
I know the a7 series camera especialy a7RII and a7SII is little bit expensive than Samsung mirrorless flagship camera NX1.
But it worth the price thanks to FF sensor and 5 axis IBIS.
And thanks to Sony partnership with Zeiss it will provide me with high quality lens lineup.
When it come to lens the best Samsung lens is not even on par with the best Sony G Lens.
At the end of the day Sony mirrorless camera would be better investments than Samsung mirrorless camera.
And if the upcoming Sony a6000 sucessor comes with cutting edge specs & features like Sony a7RII.
Most people in photography & videography world would forget that Samsung NX1 ever exist.
But if the sucessor or the a6000 has no significant improvements we gonna see Samsung fanboys bragging about their NX1.

Pureview Lumia support RAW. 38mp of RAW image.. do it the way you want.
enable the Camera2 API option in the menu of Snap Camera HDR, or Camera FV-5, for instance, allow you to capture RAW in Android phone.
Use Samsung Note 5 or Edge 6 + for the best Result among Android Phones.

They haven't heard ab... moreyep, even samsungs 16-50mm kit lens they bundle with cameras is one of the best entry level lenses, and even their S line of pro lenses are amazing, and even more so when they come from a company not known for high end optics.

Mirrorless digital camera have no meaning anymore with the rise of smartphone camera. Btw, I doubt any professional photographer option for mirrorless camera compare to DSLR camera. Pixel counts when you want to enlarge the photos and print it large size. So, pixel race is still necessary despite only relevant to DSLR camera.

We know all the things Samsung did, we just don't care, we demand serious products, with functionality, not some "we haven't tried camera industry yet, we should try it since we have cash to waist" company. If you want a serious mirror less camera, you're either gonna go with Sony or Fujifilm, but if you're gonna shoot your cat and post food selfies, then Samsung is fine i think.

Hardly... Not until mobile phones support RAW shooting mode, have full sized sensors, have glass lenses that are bigger than a lentil, have full manual controls, and drop the obsession with meaningless megapixel counts... What's the point in having a 20mp camera when the 99.9% of the photos are just uploaded to Facebook at a fraction of the captured resolution and quality? Far better to focus on an increased dynamic range to improve picture quality instead...

if samsung is closing down its camera division , it mean sales are bad ..
considering the money they have got in their kitty , they don't need to give a 2 year break and relaunching it again
also people are moved to other division because the digital camera divine got closed , but not to improve other divisions

I mean, what the point of selling digital camera that comes with 21mp lens and then selling smartphones with the same megapixel. GS7 is rumored to have 23mp sensors. Samsung predicting the relevance of the future market in this segment. They made a great decision.
