Anonymous, 04 Nov 2015I'm trying to understate how this guy bent the phone but others on YouTube are having a hard t... moreThey're not actually trying to bend it enough because they won't get enough views to pay for a new phone ( You get $1 for every 0 views on YouTube). Lol
Lol at the Fandroids trying to defend their bendable phone. When the iPhone 6 plus bend, they were bashing like crazy. Note their beloved nexus phone bends in half they're making excuses and denying the truth.
Jerry is a huge bodybuilder guy who could bend a solid bar of steel so, until someone else posts a bend test, I'm not convinced.
Look just at pictures of him dresses as Bane if you don't believe me: https://i.instagram.com/zacksjerryrig/
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2015Well that's one way of getting quick access to the sealed battery...Nice one man
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2015I'm trying to understate how this guy bent the phone but others on YouTube are having a hard t... moreHis instagram, with photos like this: https://instagram.com/p/y0ezGSPIcc/?taken-by=zacksjerryrig explains it.
Why do people stick with aluminium alloys for phones again? Gram for gram, steel is way less prone to thermal and mechanical deformations (by a factor of almost 3 for the latter). It's somewhat cheaper (in most places).
For the amount of mony paid this shouldn't be allowed.
Indeed you don't buy an expensive phone to bend it but carrying it in tight pants can do the trick. I like metal clads but it's simply not right to sell crappy metal clads and certainly not for the asked money!
dukaki, 04 Nov 2015When the fruit company's product bends, the world goes haywire with "bendgate". Everyone start... moreYou pretty much answered yourself, it's the sum you pay and brand reputation that made a fuzz out of it, + the little force needed back then. Now that they fixed it's OK, but it's like: frankly what did you expect from Huawei? Sadly they don't have the reputation to much, like someone else said, if it was Samsung the craze would go on just like with Apple, with fanboys madly saying "Of course if you do something stupid it breaks!" and the others bashing.
I'm trying to understate how this guy bent the phone but others on YouTube are having a hard time doing so.
dukaki, 04 Nov 2015When the fruit company's product bends, the world goes haywire with "bendgate". Everyone start... moreJust like it is cool for fruit company fanboys to hate certain Korean company? Yeah! And that's expected from a cheap chinese OEM maker, so nobody cares. If this same thing had happened with certain Korean company's product, you'd have jumped around with extreme joy and abuses towards it. Some things are best left as they are.
I have both Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 and they are good phones. Already decide skipping this Nexus 6P, so no worry here.
even apple devices bent is in little pressure . cant survive crapy apple n samsung ... :p
When the fruit company's product bends, the world goes haywire with "bendgate". Everyone starts blaming them for bad engineering and how they couldn't notice the weak spots. Said company has to replace bent devices and change the materials used for the next gen.
When giggle's product bends people get mad at the person calling them out for making the video in the first place saying "if you try to break something it will break".
Just like with the iphone 6, it is the little effort needed to break it that is the problem. You pay a huge sum for these phones, they'd better make them equally or more durable than cheaper ones.
But it's cool to hate apple I guess?
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2015If a guy can bend this with his hands, I highly doubt your weight has much to do with it. U... moreYou plan on giving a high end phone to a toddler who gonna drop it? Or are you the type of person who doesn't drop shit? My iPhones have always been naked, I can't stand covers, and they all pristine (ok with a scratch or 2 here and there to be honest, but barely noticeable.)
You on purpose try to break something - people are shocked that it broke.
Anonymous, 04 Nov 2015But compare the force to band ip6s and nexus6P .. for band ip6s u need a lot more force .. nex... more"chunky chinese phone" lol yet Huawei's other phones are extremely tough. But when a western company ike google listed the cheap components that Huawei must use in the Nexus 6P, guess what it bends and cracks like a plastic interior of a murican car.
My Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 which is made of plastic ($150) is tougher than Nexus 6P and the Iphone6s
