AnonD-443108, 04 Nov 2015I recently visited Shanghai and Beijing for office work and i could see only iphones there no ... moreAre sure those are iphones? In China, they have so many brands that look exactly like iphone, just like HTC, Oppo, Huawei, Gionee, BLU, Vivo and many others. Don't get confused buddy.

I'll definitely buy their 4'inch phone, my hands are small. I'm using iphone 6 and it always slips in my hand. I used iphone 4s before to iphone 6, and im not quite comfortable using my iphone 6.

I forgot one thing: I hope it's suited with higher capacity battery cos that's one major complaint about the 5s.

Hmm if it get confirmed, I think I delay my phone buy, and will buy one immediately. But, and thats a big BUT if they continue the 5c line (selling the same old gen hw, for more money), then the project is doomed.

I would buy a 4.5 -4.7 Apple or HTC any day with premium specs and thinness. Maximum height 128mm - 135mm max. Just lessen the bezel.

4 inch screens are the best.
                Perfect for one handed use
Specially if it has those sharp edges like the 5,5s it will be great.

b0ne, 04 Nov 2015the results are not calculated the same wayGeekbench is a cross platform tool, yes there are factors that effect the overall score. But ultimately the end result is the same, and it points to the A7 being a perfectly acceptable SOC even today.

The proof of this is how well devices featuring have held up performance wise over the years since this soc debuted (iPhone 5S, iPad Air & Mini 2 etc.)

it's besides the point though, I highly doubt that if apple were to re-introduce a 4-inch iPhone model, that it would feature the A7, the A8 seems more likely.

Definitely yes! I still prefer a smart phone in a smaller form factor like my 5s, a device I can conveniently use one-handed. There are of course phones from other manufacturers with this screen size but the specs are just disappointing. If Apple relaunches the 5s with the same premium specs as its bigger siblings (material design, chip set, ram, screen res, cam res, apple pay, etc), it'll be another sure hit for the company. And it doesn't even have to be "revolutionary".

                              Q: Would you pick a 4" iPhone 7 over a 4.7" one?
A: Nop. Too small for sure.

Given how many iPhone 4/4s users there are it would make sense to have something at that size. Android based oem simply cannot match it at that size.

In terms of performance I think A7 is still amongs the beast, because iOS 9 is most advanced OS on mobile platform in terms of visual quality, user interaction and simplicity. And A7 is running it almost fluidly with its only two mini cores.
4-4.5" is the perfect size for phone and I think next iPhone(mini) 7 should be sized between these sizes with latest CPU coming that time or A9. Also If they are increasing screen size they should reduce the bezzels.

That is nice but it is less likely as it would mean additional variation of the iPhone. The larger screens is what most people have been waiting which resulted to another record breaking sales of the phone.

4" is the perfect size for a phone. For god's sake its a PHONE !! it should fit easily in a pocket and should be used with one hand, if I wanted an over sized slap of metal I'd get a tablet. 5"+ phones are phabets and are a niche product not for the average consumer !
