Read the article carefully before saying Samsing is going backwards.
"...just like we'd expect from a 12MP type 1/2" imager"
That mean the new BRITECELL is 'similar' to 12mp type 1/2" imager. It doesn't indicate Samsung is using 12mp sensor. In fact, Samsung is in negotiation with Sony to use the 23mp camera sensor in Xperia Z5 for their Galaxy S7.

The camera hump is gonna get bigger unless they go thicker body but then that's gonna go against the thin-is-sexy trend thus hurting the sales figure.

why people dosn´t reallyze that are so wrong, fighting for wich phone is betterm there is NO better phone than other, is TECHNOLLOGY, the most stupid investment of people´s ife, once you purchase a perfect gadget and you think that you are satisfied, PAMM!!! technollogy punch directly in your face with a "better" device that will let you feeling that you invested in something that is downgrading quick, or easier than that your device becomes obsolet quick, best to say is you better enjoy what you have for a long time , even if new is better or you always are going to be dreaming with the new device.

There was once Nokia, then there is Samsung, there will be someone else to take the reign and bring good products.
