[deleted post]Why wouldn't you compare it to the current best cpu in the market?, besides the next version of Exynos Mongoose will smoke this.

[deleted post]Oh i see your point. But lemme ask you, why does 99% of people compare chips if they are completely another build? Why would you even compare hexa core with octa core?

So when sd820 comes and blows away everyone with 4 cores you will also say that sn820 and new kirin or exynos are incomparable? Because of the number of cores?

Well this chip is gonna be monster. I dont think that huawei will have 1080p on 6 inch screen. Other than that it is pretty understandable that Kirin is better, it uses newer a72 cores with 2.5 ghz and 1.8 cores.

This chipset is playing with full hd resolution then getting 83k in amtutu where is exynos is giving power to quad hd pixels then getting 70k . So if exynos get to support only full hd display then it will also get over 80k in antutu . Imo exynos is year ahead in chipset game.

Yeah 83,000 on Antutu and then like 8 FPS on the Manhattan and 12 FPS on the T-Rex tests.

that version of exons is showing its age and how long was it king of the hill in the android SOC camp so now yeah somin had to bring it down we will see how good this Kirin 950 is when a new version of Exynos is revealed I bet it will be mopping floors with the rest of the SoCs competing wit it snapdragons included! coz the Exynos on my current galaxy is absolutely savage when it comes to editing, converting and creating HD videos that is where u realize that Exynos is a monster SOC absolutely astonishing

If it has LED display, ois and extremely thin top and bottom bezels then maybe. But it doesn't.

We actually expected more* from Mate 8.
                                      (and initially from Mate S)

Mate 8 was my last "hope" I won't jump to Windows 10.
Seems the Universe wants me to make the jump.

                                      * (where "more" doesn't go to the SoC performance, but the rest of the hardware, plus I still don't trust Huawei's OS upgrade policy... which basically sucks)
