Seemed like it happened over night. Has to be something i downloaded. I could get almost 2 full days on a charge just using it normally if i wasnt playing music or games. It didnt have any problem lasting 1 full day playing games and music though. Now i have to charge it 3 times a day. And if its not a fast charger it itll only be at 50% after all night on a regular charger.
Anonymous, 07 Aug 201612 hours of use 60-70% left. How are you getting 12 hours of battery life??
+100 for the Exchange account being the culprit, I'm an IT Director. I was pulling my hair out over this because my phone is rooted [vs990] and I had awesome battery life. Then all of a sudden (or so I thought) my battery started to drain like crazy (even when charging if not fast-charging. It turns out when I enabled automatic updating the exchange application updated to a version with a bug causing severe battery drain...
I froze the exchange application with ROM Toolbox's Application Manager(root only... Sorry guys) and instantly you could see the difference in the battery drain. My phone is fixed and I have my battery life back!!! Stoked!

Yes on my LG v10 battery drains extremely fast. Wail I'm playing high-end games like nfsnl my phone battery drains even I plug in to the charger. Even when I just browsing on internet with charger it takes so much time to fully charge almost all day. I'm very disappointed.

Jim, 11 Dec 2015I just spent half an hour on the phone with Verizon regarding this issue. It turns out my p... moreMy battery life is even better! People don't know how to charge/break in their batteries, or what to stay away from. I used GPS for 12 minutes, made a 2 minute call, a few texts, gone for about 2 hours off the charger. When I got home, I was at 97%. It stays at 100% all night off the charger face down with a few peaks to see the time.
I honestly think those of you getting bad battery life on the V10 is because of something you have installed. My battery life is EXCELLENT! I'm coming from a Galaxy S5. Now THAT battery life is absolutely atrocious. It drains at 4%/HR while sleep. If I take it off the charger before getting dressed to leave anywhere, by the time I'm dressed, I'm down to 90% with only opening a couple apps. My V10 on the other hand, I start with 100% and used navigation for 12 minutes (GPS on), texted my daughter back & forth a couple times, and called her for 2 minutes. I was still at 100% after driving 15 minutes. We stopped at the grocery store after picking her up for half an hour and drove home (17.5 Mike round trip). I was at 97% when we got home. I didn't charge it at all. When I go to sleep and wake up, I'm still at 100%. I get about 6.5 hours on screen time at half brightness, and at full brightness, about 4 hours. I'm a HEAVY user. I use over 450GBs/mo. Other things I noticed about LG V10s that I've seen on YouTube videos, I've seen fake ones from China and people think they're real. I also set people with international versions on U.S. carriers. Those 2 things play MAJOR factors in battery life, as they're always looking for radio band that aren't there. I'm currently running a battery test on my V10 and will post pics of my battery usage graph and battery test in the morning. I also notice that many people don't properly break in their batteries. Yesterday morning, I was up at 6 a.m.. I was doing all sorts of things on my phone without plugging it in. The graph will show that it doesn't very little time at rest. My battery didn't die until around 2 p.m.. This was a test I was running on my actual day to day use. When I first got the phone, my first few uses, I averaged 3.5 hours battery time at 80% brightness (maybe 400 nits) with constant use. I don't have any battery savings settings enacted. I will post pictures tomorrow.
