This looks really nice although I think it'll be in the region of £60 maybe more but I'll still go for it, I've been using TOM TOM for the past few year and am looking forwards to getting this on my new HTC Desire. This app will work well with the power of the HTC's snapdragon processor. Not sure it would run on a nokia though.
potential frequency net safari pattern variation chemical likewise
Anonymous, 06 Mar 2010I'd rather pay than have to use a Nokia.so to put up with an iphoney you will buy extra nav apps like this , i would rather have nokia 1100 with a dedicated garmin navigation system
ps .... did anyone tell you nokia maps and navigation are free , oh well i guess some one did . STILL PEOPLE BOTHER TO WASTE THEIR TIME ON STUFF LIKE THIS

Tom, 05 Mar 2010too much to hope that it is onboard? I can't see the logic in having to download the map as yo... moreIt does say it comes pre-loaded.
On a seperate note though, surely the 3D maps would demand more from the handset so may lag on slower handsets and must surely kill the battery. Any word on wether the 3D can be turned off? Does look very interesting though, especially like the 'finding your friends' part.
Draco, 05 Mar 2010Still, nokia OVI maps 3.0 is FREE! Big advantage over other appsI'd rather pay than have to use a Nokia.
Draco, 05 Mar 2010Still, nokia OVI maps 3.0 is FREE! Big advantage over other appsSo I'll just install Ovi maps on my iPhone then?
Having to put up with a Nokia phone is not free.
If more than $50USD i wont buy it! Cause i already have one on my iphone!
Looks great. Lets hope its better than the terrible Tom Tom App which slow as hell.
If it supports many platforms, why just show it on the iPhone? Bias much? Why couldn't you show it on a Nexus One, of HD2 or some other phone? Anyway, it does look really good for a map software. I may invest in it.
I am currently using Sygic map navigation (not the AURA) on my symbian phone among other satnav. It looks attractive and quite precise but user interface is poor. Eg. Selecting destination is a chore. This will be a good satnav for non-Nokia users if it comes cheap.
Dome looks nice, hope to have it if avaiable for the Gulf and South Asian countries. Good Job!
too much to hope that it is onboard? I can't see the logic in having to download the map as you move (a la google maps). I find GPS most useful when I am away from any reception. Why do companies have this obsession now with downloading maps? BRING BACK PRELOADED MAPS!
