AnonD-296165, 10 Nov 2015I don't get something. How will the SD820 be faster if it has quad core 2.2 GHz CPU? I know it... moreHigher clock speeds and the increasing the amount of cores doesn't always translate to better performance. Things like efficiency, temperature control, cache size, 64bit, etc can make it a more powerful SoC. This is why the SD800-805 are used in flagship Samsungs even though they made an Exynos oct-core with the S4.

Besides, number of cores doesn't say anything about their performance. These are custom made and should be more powerful than A72, if they aren't, then it's a big letdown since that's what next gen will use.

If everything goes well, I hope it will find it's way to (European) Galaxy S7, as because of Exynos (although very fast) it has no custom ROMs

benchmarks aside (I don't care if mongoose has 100000 antutu points and 6000 single core points, real life usage will all be the same) I will pick a galaxy s7 with s820 soc cuz of the additional capabilities it has!

So the use some sort of software trick with a smaller camera, say 20mp and it turns into a fake 50mp photo. Usually it still sucks.
