Anonymous, 12 Nov 2015man these kinda comments about touchwiz sounded great 3 years back. grow up and come back wit... moreI'm note sure about the S6/Note 5 generation, but Note 4 wasn't released 3 years ago, last time I checked. And it lags badly.
w1000i, 12 Nov 2015-The GPU is week compare to Adreno 530 buy -35%
-There is no information about the DSP
- The... moreYou're dreaming... the T880 is easily on par if not a little bit more powerful than the Adreno 530 ...
There are already rumors floating around that the SD-820 is prone to overheating issues... just not on the same scale as the SD-810 --- Case point being the SD-820 cannot accommodate let alone process a 12 core GPU ...
...Man Of Steel..., 12 Nov 2015I wonder how it will perform against the Six core-PowerVR GT7600.And yet i still don't believe... moreIf you are trying to say that how the Mali T880 MP12 will perform against the the PowerVR GT7600...which the Apple iPhone 6S/6S+ uses...!
You need to know one thing , Apple uses measly 750p / 1080p screens on their phones...while Samsung flagships uses a 2K screen or as the rumors suggests their would be a 4K screen on Galaxy S7...!
So the resolution of the screen affects on the performance of the GPU...!
If u really want to compare both the GPUs , then the fair comparison would be both the phones having the Same resolution displays...which i don't think it's gonna happen...!
Anonymous, 12 Nov 2015IPHone GPU just got ownedAnd you are basing that conclusion on what exactly????
All that power! The samsung really is taking big steps in their silicon business. They should put the same amount of effort on batteries!!!
Samsick, 12 Nov 2015They needed it for laggwizz !
100k antutu ?man these kinda comments about touchwiz sounded great 3 years back.
grow up and come back with something legit.
this is what i always hated about Hisilicon and mediatek chips.
they always underpower the GPU
Now why didnt kirin-950 employ Mali-T880 MP12 or MP8???
...Man Of Steel..., 12 Nov 2015I wonder how it will perform against the Six core-PowerVR GT7600.And yet i still don't believe... moreYeah, I am looking forward to a comparison between the Adreno 530, PowerVR Gt-7600 and the Mali-T880MP12.
Will be very interesting to see how they stack up. Which ever comes out on top though, I think all three are going to be great performers.
Its not worlds first..
Its first for samsung to have integrated lte chips for their home grown processors.. they used to add the modem chip seperately, thats why 3g countries had exynos phones and lte countries had snapdragon phones ( snapdragon processors have them integrated )
haters and lovers - read it again.
Still this could mean that the sole reason samsung started using snapdragon processors is now gone..
It might just go with its processor for whole world but thats still a hunch.. only future shall tell us how the story unravels..;)
lee, 12 Nov 2015snapdragon 820 is no match for the power of EXYNOS 8890..believe that There are no facts to go by, so what am I to believe in? Some Samsung religion? Sorry, I don´t fall that way. Whatever chip comes out on top gets the praise, but I really don´t care whichever does, because I don´t have any shares in either Qualcomm or Samsung, so it really doesn´t benefit me in any way.
I do love tech and I´m looking forward to see what Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 brings to the table in 2016, no matter which one is better in which area.
A Qualcomm announcement and both sides of the fans go nuts.
A Samsung announcement and both sides of the fans go mad.
Wait, a Huawei announcement or NVIDIA's and LG's for that matter and all sides of the fans go crazy.
2016 can not come faster ;)
Anonymous, 12 Nov 2015Seriously awesome ! 12 cores graphics ! I wonder how it will perform against the Six core-PowerVR GT7600.And yet i still don't believe that too many cores equals superior performance.

lee, 12 Nov 2015snapdragon 820 is no match for the power of EXYNOS 8890..believe that Er...yeah, we haven't seen either in action really yet, so your comment is kind of jumping the gun don't you think?
