Anonymous, 12 Nov 2015Not a chance Apple you're just ripping people off now and these people ae your loyal customers... moreYes, Apple's greed shines through. For the price Apple is asking, the stylus and keyboard/cover should be included, as well as bunch of other accessories (what just a charger and lightening cable? That's it???). Apple loves squeezing it's customer base for all the cash it can get!!

        The worst product EVER

With the pen and Keyboard and 128GB storage , this thing will cost $1600

I can get a Full powerful windows Tablet (surface Pro 4) with 256GB SSD , 8 GB of Ram , Digitizer Pen , Windows 10 pro and i7 CPU for that price ! and will work better than this toy and will last 7 hours on batteries.

Shame on you Apple for pricing this TOY twice what it is worth !

AnonD-430043, 12 Nov 2015for the device alone, maybe yes. but there are other factor as well, last time i bought my iP... moreHere in Portugal you have 24 hours to trade your defective iPhone, iMac, iPod or iPad.
That is canon here, and if you do, in fact, discover a defect on your device past those 24 hours, it will go directly to Apple to assess the cost of repair, which I think is a rip off.

Even large domestic appliances have a policy of 15 days trade in case you find a defect and Apple has its own.

Also, device insurance here in Portugal is crap. You pay most of the times 10/20% of the total price and you never have actual rights.

And Apple most of the time doesn't have a great warranty protection. Most of the time they will bombard you with questions to make you feel like YOU messed up the phone.

And not to talk about the "back & forth" and the long periods of time they go without telling you a thing about your device.

Sun Sand, 12 Nov 2015One can bet the manufacturing cost of the device is just a fraction of the asking price -Around 25%.for the device alone, maybe yes.
but there are other factor as well, last time i bought my iPad, it's covered in assurance automatically, so if i drown my iPad, or drop it by chance, it will cover the repair cost.
Apple's service is one of the best, if you get a defective unit for example, you could swap away without much hassle.

"Apple Ipad Pro is mostly hold together by glue and lots of it."

So, you all paying $800 for all of that glue in your ipad pro which have 3/10 repairability rating. Repair cost probably 3/4 of the original price. Basically, Apple wants you to buy a new one everytime you break it.

Greed is not an attractive quality.

Totally unbiased point of view as I like apple amongst others, but seriously, why would any one pay those dollars when clearly the profit margin is in the stratosphere as it is with apple in Australia charging 1400.00 for their base level phone in Sydney. If it were any other manufacturer GSM boards would be alive with complaints. Go figure. Just crazy.
