And mostly coping bad things, like u... moreHTC One A9 reuse their design from the HTC One M7 which was released in 2013 long before Apple iPhone 6 existed. Then they designed the HTC One X9 based on their own HTC One V which was released back in 2012. So tell me which part did HTC copied from other mobile brands? Did you ever think that Apple stole the design of the One M7 or Huawei took the One V back cover? Please stop showing us your idiotic bashing comments. I had sore eyes just by reading all those 'copying' comments like the mobile industry is going to an end!

It is hyper loads better than the GSM arena picture by a long shot. It is so sleek, so masculine. The critics were right about its look and feel. It is the best looking mobile phone I have ever seen. Seriously it is. Way way past my expectations. I wanted an apple look but I got so much better. This is the best mobile purchase I have made in 4 years. Now . . .i can finally see what the guys in the launch were excited about. The marshmallow on top and that screen. Stunning!! Do I sound excited. You bet. Well earnt HTC well earnt.

The front is a good design, but the back cover is frankly like the Nexus 6P, the phone side also looks like a samsung phone.
HTC could use the "H" for it symbolic logo for the back cover design, how to design it? maybe just like a embossed "H" metal/antenna and just similar as a simplified butterfly wings. And the color of the phone is important but I wouldn't give you the idea. Then the side of the phone also a important design.
Hope could take this as a reference and get win in the China market.

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2015Just like expected, some people will again say any new release phone is copy their beloved iPhone. and if you say that apple copied htc then you're wrong as well. the htc m7 came in 2013 while the ipod touch 5th gen came in 2012. ipod touch has the iphone 6 design except without the antenna lines because there is no call facilities. and if you remember when the iphone 6 was about to get released rumours said that the new iphone will have the ipod touch design. so design wise apple came with that design first. plus the ipod touch is a unibody device. cant blame it on anyone.

I am surprised to see how people post baseless comments. This phone has its design derived from HTC's One series (One V and the M series). Before you blatantly call it a Nexus 6p ripoff or an iphone ripoff, remember that HTC made metal unibody phones since 2010 !

hc must work on lcd in m7 and one x htc have best lcd at time but now stay behind
on battery and on camera must work more (i like camera really in m9)
the design is perfect speaker is great ...uni al body i love it
selfy in htc is the best, sense is super great white new themes,
htc must use fast ram and rom ....

I think the best thing would be for those with the A9 to hype it to high heaven. The price of the X9 is $250 and considering Htc's Holiday Deal you get 15% off making it $207.5. That's about $200 less than the A9 with the same FHD screen, camera and a bigger batt.
