That's it for me. Not buying samsung phone any more in the future. Next time going with apple or windows and long support.

what a joke, Dec for Note 5 and Jan for S6?
this is why their sales are going down...
If they really want to charge their flagship phone as much as iPhone
they need to improve their 'after-sale' service

must be too busy working on S6 with 6.0 as well as mid-range upcoming A series
I feel bad for those people including myself keep buying their flagships
never again, I'd rather buy LG (G4 got 6.0 already)

Meanwhile my three year old iPhone 5 enjoys iOS 9.1!
And to think I akmost bought a 64gb note 5 over the weekend to replace my iPhone 5! Knowing I won't get the latest android update till almost Jan 2016 is ridiculous!

Android cannot sustain like this in upgrades! They definitely need to work on making majority of the devices on the latest platform....This is completely useless if you release the upgrade after mayn months!

I wish Android manufacturers or heck even Google would support phones for at least up to 3 years. 2 years is a really short time and I'm sure a 2 year old flagship's hardware is more than enough to support the latest firmware.

Galaxy E3, E5, E7, A3, A5, A7 all get Marshmallow, but not Note 3? All I want is the granular permissions!

So S6, which is the flagship gets it a full month later just because it's released before Note5... OK. And S5 needs approval, really? So if this is the story with the S6 next year, my next phone will be a Nexus. (Before anyone asks why I bought the S6 in the forst place, it's mainly it's hardware, and hope for AOSP ROM. But of course, Exynos...)
