Anonymous, 17 Nov 2015Yes, I agree with you. If it does not support Android apps then I won't buy Windows phone. So the reason you would buy Windows phones for is that they support Android apps? Why not buy Android phones and be done with it?

not for windows devices. you'll lose all of the optimizations if you run them using non-apple devices.

Who would pick the Android version of an app over the iOS version? iOS version are smaller, better optimized, more consistent, more secure and more recent. Windows phone with Apps Store support means 100% of all apps. With Play Store and it is not even 50%.

I know because I have iPhone 6s+, Note 4 and just sold my Amazon Fire Phone yesterday.

This is a good move by Microsoft because if they can convince to bring iOS apps that means they can convince paying customers to consider Windows Phones. It is a good opportunity for iOS developers to brings there app to more devices via universal apps.

iOS apps are generally well designed so they can port the same design to Windows. This would be very easy for banks and similar services.

Developers won't enter in to the game without a gain. Even the free apps on Android. Either they profit by Advertising or by selling user information or both.

AnonD-457389, 17 Nov 2015I'm tempted to try windows phone, but still not tempted enough to actually buy a phone. Is it me or every time Nokia/Microsoft releases a new device, an article somehow appears saying Windows Mobile OS is growing? And yet, I haven't seen a single person carrying their devices in their hand.
