It's good for those young people out there with affordable price but the design is always the same construction like 5800 and N97,I hope Nokia will be more creative in making design

Nokia fails in the NAM market 'cause the model in telecomms is paying for contracts. Telcos want to bastardise their phones, which nokia doesn't like. So many nokia models didn't reach them, and hence, the biased-ness against nokia.

If you dont like Nokia why do you comment, this section should be for the people who actually like this phone or want to know more about it. We spend more time defending which phone is greater then admitting all phones have pros and cons. I like nokia because they continue to add new U.I. at a great pace. I dont dislike other phones manuf. I just think that they should fix the weak phone market. This is for all the manuf. Nokia is not excluded. IMO if you have an apple, htc, samsung, sony ericsson, etc you should not comment because no matter what your opinion is going to bias. I love all phones but my true love is nokia and I think this phone is great for the young market and I am waiting on nokia to release the next e communicator. Also I cant wait for the S3(U.I.) device the n900 was not for me and I am liking the n97mini better than the n97 and the x6 is my new ipod...toss my zune to my nephew...take your time nokia I like where you are headed

It's a fake image , a combination of N97 mini and 5800 xm. The socalled symbian^3 only arrive in Q3 of 2010 with X10.

see what is the potential of symbian^3. also watch symbian^4 coz the symbian ^3 would be upgradable to symbian^4 due to having same Qt platform on which developments of applications would be easy.

And that is that this device is intendet ... moreVery interesting strategy, as when I read this article, I really wonder why the almighty brand simply didn't call this N97micro, N97DX (many Americans may know what DX stands for in a car's trim)...
I think most would be happier if the almighty brand simply lower the prices of N97/mini instead of releasing "yet another so called new model", so more new manuals / chargers and whatever need to be produced, and eventually be sent to landfills.

[deleted post]I don't doubt your point regarding sales of Symbian phones can / will beat all other O/S in years to come, simply bcoz Symbian itself is OLD!
My own observation is, a good number of so called Symbian users almost NEVER utilized the functions of Symbian. Once I was in a shop and a girl asked for a phone with 3mp cam, and the salesperson (possibly based on higher commision) simply said N73.
Then many wrote to the newspaper and complained the fact the phone always hang, and in one emergency case the person couldn't even call the police.
The slmighty brand simply puts so called "smart OS" Symbian in practically most of its phones...even S40, when most of such low/mid-end users only use the phones for calls/SMS, and maybe cams at most.

the recent nokia phones, the quality is much better, but nokia have many phone with a bad plastic constrution.
Nokia phone slide have many problems, n95, 5300, slide buttom of 5610XM all broke, and more. Nokia is a great brand, but isn't better of world
