S-pen and apple pencil are both different products for different types of devices.
Compare the surface pro pen and the apple pencil.

Interesting teardown. Other sites include iFixit's observation that the Apple Pencil's innovative foldable logic board is the tiniest they have seen. The difficulty in manufacturing these is also why supply is constrained at the moment.

AnonD-190634, 19 Nov 2015Samsung's s-pen doesn't use battery :) its just a small coin and a small circuit :)Technology wise, precision wise and speed wise comparing s-pen with apple pencil i like comparing Kia (s-pen) and Bugatti (apple pencil). U shouldnt compare them.
