AnonD-469227, 23 Nov 2015You're absolutely right, but only if the display is used exclusively for icons observation. ;)Of course not, I want to play Dota 2, blue stacks, full Photoshop, connect to Citrix, etc.
Satori, 24 Nov 2015My opinion as an artist is that you actually try to draw on the iPad Pro before writing it off... morePerhaps, but consider that 1) that applies only to graphic professionals, and 2) some other graphic artists who tried ipad pro voiced different opinion. So it's very personal preference.
Samsung Galaxy tab pro 12.2" screen has been out since beginning of 2014, with included S-pen, 2560x1600 resolution. What's so new with ipad pro other than being nearly two years behind Galaxy tab pro and nearly twice as expensive? Galaxy tab pro is much easier to use as desktop replacement as it supports mouse, expandable storage and multi-tasks better than ipad pro ( split screen, 4 way split and floating window as well!!)
surface copy cat. finally a true copycat from Apple. Tim Cook is not Steve Jobs
AnonD-240456, 23 Nov 2015Just to big for me. Auto correct

As someone who has owned Cintiqs and Wacom penabled tablet devices, the Pencil has better accuracy and precision than any other digitizer I have ever used. I have owned practically every Samsug Galaxy Note phone to date, so I'm no "fruity" fanboy either.
the Pen is greatly intriguing, the Pro however is just a blown out tablet. wish the Pen usable to another iPad or even 6+

It has a lot of accessories, gloves and buttons that make Photoshop so easy to use. Not to mention the ergonomic design.
But hey, thats my opinion as an artist. Maybe you want the fruity one just to show off or play silly games.

I can understand why some people would jailbreak though.

"The work Apple has done to get the hardware and software in harmony to the point where this all works so flawlessly is astounding to me. The results I am able to achieve are just fantastic."
People loving the product as always, let the haters hate
For artists, it should be a great tool. I think it will represent the best mobile art experience so far. I have a Note Pro 12 and as tablets go, it's still going to be more flexible than the iPad Pro because Android is more flexible than iOS. And Samsung's personal touches, though not nearly as refined as Apples, still offer greater flexibility. So I still wouldn't want an iPad Pro although it should be good for artists. Other than for artists, I don't really know. A large screened laptop should still be better for a lot of other types of work.
I would say it's rather warm. Not quite hot, but not a toy either as some are desperate to say it is.
Excellent device from Apple and once again, demonstrating something its competitors lack, understanding of the market and target user. Disney animators have already praised the device, saying palm rejection is perfect. This looks like becoming the defacto device for mobile professionals in the near future.
You're absolutely right, but only if the display is used exclusively for icons observation. ;)
At that screen size and running a mobile OS, doesn't make sense IMO. :D

I still have a Jsilbroken iPad one though, lol.
AnonD-446990, 23 Nov 2015Wasn't the iPhone 5c £500/$500?The 5c was a horrible ugly device in my opinion, a hit and miss lol and anyways, $500 for a plastic iPhone is still a bit much, As much as I love Apple, it's true.
