I wish IPad Pro primarily for the sake of the phenomenal screen with which one Surface Pro 4 can not be compared. There is a greater difference of 12.9 vs. 12.4 (0.5 inch diff) because the screen aspect ratio of 4: 3 vs. 3: 2. So that the area of the screen ~80 vs ~71 square inches in the favor of the iPad Pro, that is more than 10 useful percent (9 sq inch diff).

I snatched up the 6s to replace my Note 4 a ... morenow this is bull$hit. let's see i pay $1050 for ipad pro 128GB+pen OR $900 for surface pro 4 128GB+Pen ? HM let me think, a full Windows pro system or and ios with limitless limits?
you had note 4 and settled for an 6S ? exchangeable battery, expandable memory Super AMOLED QHD screen, the S PEN, and much more and you simply moved to a small useless phone? (at least you could say 6S plus) why did you buy note 4 in the first place?

The iPad Pro has lot of unused potential. Unless they make the app ecosystem better, it's just a bigger and a lot costlier iPad Air 2. Apple should've used the bigger screen to fit more icons too. The 4 x 4 icon layout in portrait mode seems barren. As usual Apple is testing the waters with their first generation product.

I see the SP4 as a full on laptop replacement (if not an AIO with a small screen). Thing is Windows is just better all round, not only for artists but also for enginiers (and i'm not talking about autocad or similar apps) and everyday workers (face it, iOS and Android suck as a bigger than 10" OS, while x86/x64 win doesn't).

I thought that I wouldn't really need the iPad Pro. I still think so. Yet I have it on order. Logitek CREATE keyboard already here, Apple Pencil expected by the end of December. So I voted "hot". But I still see it as a niche device.
You see, the iPad Pro seems to come close to the MacBook Air (I have the cheapest mid-2013 one, but with 256 GB storage). I'd like more pixels on the screen, and I often need portrait mode. That's what made my opinion shift.
By the way, I have a Surface Pro 3 with Core i5, and I'll buy the Pixel C. And I'm crazy about my iPad Air 2.
