In regards to comparing the Apple Pencil and the N-Trig tech on the Surface Pro 4, the 120 pps has noticeably laggier input with the stylus on the Windows tablet than the iPad Pro's 240 pps sampling rate.
I wouldn't expect you to know this as you seem to have a clear bias against all Apple products, but using an app called AstroPad you can use the iPad Pro as a Cintiq-like device that will mirror your workflow on an real fully fledged desktop computer (meaning I can use Photoshop and all the regular software you would expect on a "pro" PC workstation).
Your argument for the SP4 is invalid to an artist, but I suppose as an hybrid all-in-one tablet it still stands on its own.
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2015Overpriced toy with defects like locking up after charging overnight and deficient 12W charger... moresince ios 9.2 the freeze is fixed. the other thing...its based on what you do on that display, if you watch 4k or 5k videos is normal since there are no others tablets that can charge while watching 5k videos
Overpriced toy with defects like locking up after charging overnight and deficient 12W charger that drains the battery while under use.

According to every review iPad pro has better pen experience. Also if you are artist you probably own a Mac already so it makes sense to buy iPad

Android is 'never' a competition. lets compare with surface pro 4. both has pen and keyboard.

ipad 128 gb max vs 512 gb
screen is better resolution in apple ipad.
battery is 1 hour extra in apple ipad.
productivity is more for grahic artists in surface.
for programmers surface pro 4 can be used to develop apps for windows web and android, in ipad you need a seperate computer for develping apps

i am sure voting would be 89235 vs 655
"The Apple Pencil, that's the stylus, is tracked 240 times per second so you can draw with no lag and its pressure sensitive too. Galaxy Note users aren’t that impressed though, S Pens have done that for years and without battery too."
As an artist who has owned several iterations of Galaxy Note devices (and also Wacom Cintiqs), I am actually extremely impressed so far with using the Apple Pencil for drawing on my iPad Pro. What is disappointingly not mentioned in many articles when comparing stylus input across different devices is the fact that Wacom's EMR technology has a 133 points/sec of polling pen-to-screen frequency and even worse is the N-Trig tech found in the Surface Pro line of tablets which have a 120 points/sec sampling. The fact that the Apple Pencil is tracked 240 times per second is nothing to scoff at from the perspective of an digital artist, and it's prized low latency should be the primary reason why anyone would bother to spend nearly $1k for a base model iPad Pro w/ the optional stylus.
Overpriced and over-sized iPad! Not! But some fans will buy it because it has a bitten apple logo in it...
Haven't looked at results yet, pretty sure there's like 50 nots and 15 hots!

You just need marketing. Wondering what would be of Coca Cola if it was no marketing, just another option of drink on the vending machines.
From an economical perspective, that really is the only thing that matters, masses spend money on it or not. Just when you consider people who don't just go by marketing, you'll find different opinions.
The iPad Pro from an analytic viewpoint has a lot of nice ideas on an already good product, for a huge price considering the currently in market alternatives. Up to us now to choose what's the most important: how much the price influences on the product, how the new (to this line up) stuff count towards, how each aspect from the product counts as plus points and minus points and how many pluses and minuses.
For me it's a not, for you it could be a hot (don't know tho), Apple is making money, it doesn't mean I should like it or any of us here.
it is the best tablet
i love the A9x, i love the pencil, on some apps is the best pencil engine on the planet, better than wacom
But like somebody already said, putting an Apple device here on gsmarena is no use...always a failure
