The Psx emulator is all we and danndy but it takes a while to find a game that work i have download many of games and have found they dont work right, but all am saying it would be nice to have the option to play a ps1 game though the big tv, seen as i still have a big ass computer that dosnt have hdmi (i know i need to upgrade) but the point its having the option to do so now where Sony really pay attention to us they should be looking at all back ward compatible but does that mean The ps5 will have it or any other consoles in a few years cos lets face it they do make a lot of money of putting it all on to next gen consoles, because thats what they do dont get me wrong i am all well up for buying the next new console.

Emulating old games is always possible if there is enough computing power, but loking to future next step is VR gaming, then AR gaming. Sony is preparing VR, but microsoft already got AR device and that is future. There is also possible to make a game anew for a new console(if its popular). I hope new A/VRs will get at least comparable computing power like in this gen consoles.

I just want the ps4 to be backward compaible anyway for ps2 and ps1 games or even if they cant make it back ward compatible via disc at least let us be able to download games that have been on ps2 or 1 this would be great i dont want all the neew graphic for the old games just want to be able to play them i never has ps3 games but am sure people would like an all rounded ps4 but before long i bet the ps5 will be coming out or at least another handheld ps! and btw the never really played starwars but the movies are great

Do you really need to thank them for that? I mean were people expecting someone else to do it? I'd have a hard time to imagine Nintendo pulling off x360 compatibility :V

We are playing any PS2/PSX Games on entry-level gaming PC using PCSX emulator. What we really need is PS3 backward compatibility for PlayStation 4. Thanks to Microsoft for the XBOX 360 backward compatibility on XBOX 1

Even really high power GPUs like the K1 can barely sustain 1080p60 in Android games, let alone emulate completely different code.
(before anyone says anything - those of you who believe iPhones and high end Android phones sustain solid 60fps at 1080p or higher are completely wrong)

You people can easily buy a ps1, ps2 very cheaply 2nd hand and games hardly and cost.... don't know why people get excited lol.... don't get me wrong I've got a ps4 and owned a ps2 but let's face it last time I actually played ps2 games was like over 10 years ago and ain't really missed it as moved on

I'm all out for PS2 emulation on the 4 tho :D I think it's an amazing move and I've waited EVER since the console came out
