Whoop dee doo
Meanwhile 37% are still on KitKat, and only 25% on Lollipop, released last year.
And 28% are still on Jeally Bean.
Google might as well stop announcing new Android versions. There's really no point when majority of users do not even have the previous version of the OS.
[deleted post]Seriously dude ? Such joke. No one is going to watch that crap movie trailer as soon as they see that language.
i thought they said 6 would be final and just get montly updates. no more version numbers. well, ms lied too so why not google.
AnonD-442781, 21 Nov 2015No major bug fix? No burning touch id? No problem with messaging services?
I've always won... moreWhat are you talking about? Get some brain :P
Apple fixes bugs in NO time, whether it's software issue like after rolling out new update SOME devices get laggy to fix that new update is released in just 24-48 hours!
Even if some malware attack they fix thing way too fast!
Even a dub person could see that! They give updates to almost everyone unlike Android!
Surely this update will slowly rolling to Consumer.. Waiting and wating and hoping until they give you bo update.. Really frustrating.. Better buy a nexus phone..
Major or minor bug fixes, the vast majority of the android user base will not be getting it anyway.
AnonD-188372, 21 Nov 2015Great,if you have a nexus.
Otherwise no use to the vast majority of android owners, due to the... moreYou would purge the planet of every single crapple owner tomorrow if you could???
Hmmm....I remember another group of people who were once into mass purges, they like like you also used iq (amount other things) as a justification for such actions.
I guess several million people should be thankful your just some anonymous nobody who likes to talk silly on tech forums eh????
this is one of the seasons why i'm considering the nexus 6p as my G3 still on 5.0 LG didn't bother with 5.1.1 updates which was needed No more LG phones for me
Great,if you have a nexus.
Otherwise no use to the vast majority of android owners, due to the totally usless update system that Google let device makers get away with for far to long, only now are they starting to put their own house in order, and that's only because of the large number of very big holes in android "security" due to the crap code that Google write for device makers.
Take me,my HTC desire 510e,less than a year old,has it had one update in that year ? No,Google releasing 6.01 while I am still stuck on 4.4.3 and because it's a piece of crap that can only just be rooted,if your lucky, then it will be stuck on 443 for the rest of its life.that's really good security managment isn't it by Google, android always was crap and always will be,until Google spend some of their vast profits on writeing their own code for their own o.s etc and not do it on the cheap by using existing code that is riddled with massive great holes.
Am tempted quite often to go back to using my old HTC hd2 and use good old winnowing 6.5 ,it might be years out of date, but I bet you it's still more secure than android 6..
Android was a cheap con by Google, that's why almost ten years later,it's still a piece of resource hungry, unsecurable piece of crap that should never be used for anything more than playing games, media playing, and making devices look different to owners.
Not that I trust MS anymore than Google, but at least their o.s is their own code(kind of)and 10 has not been shown to be full of huge holes yet..as for crapple,I would purge the planet of every single crapple owner tomorrow if possible, the planet's average IQ would go up a good few points, gullible bunch of so called "above average inteligence" morons who believed what a physopathic lieing thief told them to believe.
AnonD-442781, 21 Nov 2015No major bug fix? No burning touch id? No problem with messaging services? I've always won... moreDo you not realize that these bugs, affect a few, and are fixed in a matter of days right? It's not like they still persist, and in fact the bugs you have mentioned are a part of the past, so in other words you're always living in the past? No wonder you happy with Android.
No major bug fix? No burning touch id? No problem with messaging services?
I've always wondered why only iOS always has so many bugs that need fixing. Probably because of Apple's minimalistic approach, or their team just isn't as good as the one at Google.
