We are sad to see colleagues go, but we know that these changes, while difficult for those impacted, will set us up for greater success."

What a PR speak.
Translation: "We want to ensure our numbers look good, so we do the easiest way to cut cost, which is to fire people."

Well, not that I'm a fan of them anyway. Their decision to block updates on their older speakers just because they are older annoys me. I mean not updating the old model is one thing, but blocking the old model to be updated even with an older update that supports the older model is just mean spirited.
