lacp, 22 Nov 2015Look, if you want to know theoretically a difference between a Cortex A15 like in Exynos 5430 ... more4 times faster? Are you living in lala land? Next gen processors never leap frog their predecessors that much. Nearly 2 times faster at most is the realistic improvement.

Suplex City Bitch, 21 Nov 2015So Exynos 5430 of A8 is better than SD620? Look, if you want to know theoretically a difference between a Cortex A15 like in Exynos 5430 and a Cortex A72 of Snapdragon 620, the Cortex A72 is almost 4 times faster than the Cortex A15, if they are of the same frequency. But here matters the manufacturing process and the engineering of the technicians of the companies, in terms of power saving and performance.

Suplex City Bitch, 21 Nov 2015So Exynos 5430 of A8 is better than SD620? No, is not. The Snapdragon 620 is better in processor architecture and performance. The Exynos 5430 is a dual quad-core 4xA15+4xA7 and is 32 bit, the Snapdragon 620 is also dual quad-core but 4xA72+4xA53 and 64 bit but the A72 cores of Snapdragon 620 and the A15 cores of Exynos 5430 have the same frequency. The gpu of Snapdragon 620 it's also stronger than the gpu of the Exynos one. All this although the Snapdragon 620 to be of 28nm of manufacturing process and the Exynos 5430 to be of 20nm.

AcidBurn, 22 Nov 2015Samsung and rational price?! Good jokeYeah. Have you actually seen A8? It is metal unibody. Not glass and metal like S6. It is supposed to be pricier. It is likely larger. Price not always depend on specs, genius. Material also count. Fancy specs equal high price? Keep dreaming. Buy an Apple. Low spec also high price.

SD620 is twice as fast as SD615, actually it's faster than SD810 in single core performance, yet only gives it +5 bump to it's naming.

If you're not tech savvy it's so easy to get defrauded by the disingenuous naming scheme that Qualcomm applies...

seems sd620 is much powerfull than my sd800 in cpu performace and single core now lets see gpu performance if it beats mine in thos aspects then sd620 could be a nice midrange choice and sd820 will be a beast encarn
