This is a global site, we're talking about smart phone usage in general, not your specific case as that is very irrelevant for any meaningful discussion.

I have used smartphones in 20-30 countries all over the world, something tell me you haven't even left your home country ever...

Because if you did, you would realise that keeping everything connected, takes data, I stream EVERYTHING, from series to music to movies (all original & full quality) also and on my iPhone my monthly data usage comes up to 8-10GB, I only do this when I'm not home, at home I have fibre, and simply connect to wifi instead of cellular. I shit you not I average 120GB a month (cell and wifi combined). But hey you dont have to believe me. Doesnt change MY reality ;)

Average US consumer only uses ~700mb a month, and 90% of people use less than 2gb a month. There are also very few people on unlimited (which often isn't even unlimited) and the people who do have it are being hounded to switch to limited in the US, many being accused of tethering, etc. Try again troll.

And haven't hipsters like you heard of WiFi? Why on earth would you even claim to be using 120gb?

media hype before market launch is a typical samsung marketing thing ( even apple does it in subtle ways )

My point though is that there are a group of droidboys who believe Samsungs decline in premium sales is in part due to the removing of the memory card. I say that even with the MMC they still wouldn't beat out iPhone, so yeah we on the same page lol

I go through 120GB a month on average. So stop crying over your petty Gig of data lmao. If there were some kind of disaster? You better hope you are alive firstly, secondly if it is extreme, I doubt you would have power to charge your phone in the first place, people would use FM radios for comms for survival and not for the radio. And who cares if the chipsets support it. Morse code was great in it's day, simple principle applies here. It is 2015 catch up with the times.

Assuming you are talking about flagship segment, it will NOT sell well next year as well. I am talking about S7 and Note 6 variants. Simple reason - Apple is the king of flagship segment. It will continue to be that way forever. Whatever Samsung does will not matter much (better CPU/GPU, RAM, Display, Camera, Design, Features etc etc), it cannot surpass Apple in $600+ valued phone sales in numbers. That is called brand building which Apple is master at. I am not saying iphones are better than Galaxy S/Note series. Just that sales will be better for apple iphones no matter what.

Or cant y... moreWho are you to decide that other people don't need FM? If you have no coverage then you can't stream, or if you are abroad and have expensive roaming charges. Also if you listen for longer periods it's going to draw a lot of data (and much more battery compared to actual FM radio), I know someone who used up 1GB data allowance in one week from using streaming radio.

Also if there is some kind of disaster then the mobile networks are probably down or overloaded but everyone can get information from FM radio. Or could if they didn't have expensive phones from Samsung or Apple that are too hip for FM radio.

The FM radio is already present in the chipsets from Qualcomm and other manufacturers, so who gains from disabling this hardware already present in the phones? Certainly not the consumers.

You would be lucky if the battery is the same size, very little chance of it getting bigger.
Amoled screens are more efficient, and they are the future. The last remaining brands that are still using cheap, thick, LCD screens are quickly being forced to use amoled. Including Apple.
