pls support Indian brand. yu gives good customize ROM & updates. but xiaomi only gives ui updates.
whatever be the case, this company has the one of the worst after sale service. First thing any company should provide is a good service center and a phone number that is working.

Finally a competitor for Z5 compact.. But 2700 Mah in Z5 compact might be little less (with 720p) screen. I think anything less than 2700 will give terrible battery life..
sounds interesting as long as they don't spoil it with a creepy battery. put in a decent 2500Mah and take my penny.
AnonD-463876, 23 Nov 2015I always thought YU was a Chinese company, since it sounds so umm Chinesey. It's by the unoriginal Indian company Micromax, it was created to compete with Xiaomi. They even copied the flash sale model from Xiaomi and the name "Yu!"(You) is the opposite of Xiaomi's "Mi"(Me). If India could invest more into creativity rather than engineers and MBAs, the country would be relevant like Silicon valley and Seattle.
Very interesting, the 4.6" screen is definitely a strong selling point. As it stands, there are very few options under 5" that offer decent specs.
But why only 4.6 inch display? Screen is too small for today's trend. 5 inch would be fine. Hope this speculation turns wrong.
I always thought YU was a Chinese company, since it sounds so umm Chinesey.
