Sony Xperia Z5 Premium now available for purchase in US Comments

I purchased my Z5 Premium 2 months ago here in the US. Best phone I've ever owned, until today it decided to stop working. I ran out of battery while taking a picture at 2% battery. Im now unable to start or charge my phone. No lights, nothing. Hrs of research, exhausted endless resets attempts, charging methods, button combos, and even some good old fashioned phone shaking. All to no avail. Horribly disappointing. Ill be the brunt of ridicule since I dared venture outside the iPhone, Samsung sphere. The US has very few good phones to offer. I wanted something better. Instead, I seem to have gotten something much worse.

Sony actually was here in USA with ATT (if I am not mistaken) and got phased out by bottomless pockets making inferior phones with higher margin of sale.

SONY is foolish to ignore the US marketplace. The US is the biggest, most important, and most affluent market in the world, yet SONY continues to ignore this market, while focusing on other markets such as SE Asia and India, where most people cannot afford a loaf of bread, much less an over-priced SONY phone. Almost no one here in the US will buy SONY products through a 3rd party re-seller like eBay or Amazon because there is no warranty or support. What the hell is SONY thinking? Hello SONY! What's that? You say you are losing over $1 million a day in your smartphone division? I wonder why? An also-ran product and no presence in the US! Comoe on SONY....get your act together. Give us the phone we want, advertise the hell out of it in the US, make it available everywhere on all major carriers, price it to sell ($750 is too much!), and back it up with world-class customer service & support. Do these things and you might....might....be able t0o save yourself.

Rashed, 24 Nov 2015Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is really a fantastic phone but in the box, Sony doesn't giving any ext... moreYou probably have been watching youtube unboxing where many of them got demo models that are not for sale so there is no any reason to include earphones in the box... in regular box that's for sale you have all the regular stuff (USB cable,charger,earphones,screen protector,manuals and some manuals that explains have to best utilize that 4k display) .

will get one soon. i love sony z5 premium so so much. i've been looking at this phone since development. i love the silver color and if they sell the sony silver leather case, i will get it in no time.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is really a fantastic phone but in the box, Sony doesn't giving any extras like Headphone. It's a shame that though Sony is a reputed brand it is not responding to its customers demand. All customers want a standard quality Headphone, a USB Charger. a USB cable, and a perfect manual with the main Phone. Customers don't want to take the burden to spend their time and buy extras. So that, sony didn't do a good job by not giving Headphone.

In US its a diffe... moreSame is the problem with me here in Pakistan, Sony dont sell their phones officially but they are available with 3rd parties with no warranty & higher prices. I so want Sony to start selling officially again, they started with the Z but ended on Z3 due to low interests.

Use my SONY smartphone on T-mobile, and all are international model bought from Hongkong since the Xperia X10, then Z, and now Z2. All of them still works until now! Been lucky so far, knock on wood. It doesn't bother me much about having no warranty. I have my old Nokia phones on stand-by, just in case I need it, if the new one failed or got damage. My next smartphone will be Xperia Z5 Premium Dual in Chrome...

I got mine on eBay through a seller with great feedback, it doesn't have a USA warranty but since the phone came from Taiwan, if anything happens you send it back to seller and they take care the issue that way, so you do have a year protection either via warranty from country phone was shipped or seller it's self.

I was personally checking this since the time the Z5premium was announced.
In US its a different story with Sony , Z4 came as Z4v with Verizon and went back ...
Now Sony is officially selling Z3+ thru amazon and BH Photo,
where as the dealers who are selling it on amazon aren't Prime dealers :(..
It demands some security to buy when u are spending 700$+ on a smart phone, buying it without warranty is an added risk.. Sony should think of an innovative way to speed up in US Market ... atleast for its die hard fans like me :)
