I, myself used to love android, until it became buggy and laggy. I have switched over to windows in the hope that their store will soon be on par with play store. I never was a fan or apple, or iOS is just a bit too simple and "locked down" for me, not to mention expensive. I like to experiment.

Samsung is merely a fab, Apple designs their SoCs, gives Samsung the floorplan, Samsung makes the SoC out of transistors. Snapdragons before 820 are made by TSMC and 820 is made by Samsung, who do you give credit to, Qualcomm or the makers TSMC and Samsung? Think with your head before posting please.

Now that apple, using an LCD panel, cost us here in our country a thousand dollars, then will this mean that I should already save for roughly $2k for my future iPhone? Well, it's possible to happen. Though I might scream ouch!!

Some of you guys need to re-read this article. Samsung re-newed discussions with Apple. That means Samsung needs Apple, not the other way around. I swear, most of you see red when you see "Apple" in any given article.

OLED screens suck in many ways such as low resolution and oversaturated and unnatural-looking exagerated colors. (I think this is why Sony sold that technology to Samsung in the first place). Instead display manufacturers should try to improve the LCD technology, although they already are superior in many ways. Anyways I think Samsung "executives" are lying and they are making use of the rumors.

Secondly, anything manufactured by Samsung is done because they are a big company that has opened those departments. It would be stupid if Apple had to manufacture all of their parts. Simply because Apple only makes high end phones. It's not profitably viable to manufacture their own parts for only 2 lines of phones.
Samsung has a much bigger need for those parts due to their many many lines of different phones. Therefore making it viable profitably viable to manufacture their own parts. If you don't know already, mass production works out much cheaper.
Any company is all about profit. Even Samsung would love to have Apple buy their parts, because it would be giving Samsung a bigger profit. LG would hate to lose Apple's business.
If i wanted to sell printed t-shirts, i wouldn't buy the cotton thread, then weave it into material, the stitch it into a t-shirt, then get it printed. Waste of time and money. I'd buy a ready made t-shirt, and get it printed on. The print is still my design.
